It is not rocket science Blizzard. Just go back to the pvp gear system used in wotlk/mop etc. You will instantly see a return from the pvp population who just enjoy logging in, doing their weekly games then maybe pushing rating in the weekends.

It would be sacrilege to them to admit the previous systems worked and what they created is total garbage, but it would be nice.
