“Oh, you can’t do it. Because I almost couldn’t do it. And because I couldn’t do it, anyone I deem unable to do so won’t do it… OHHHH!!! WOE IS ME”
There you go again trying to act all snobbish about some dumb grind.

If I wanted to level in safety I would play Horde on PvP servers but I’m not looking to add to the imbalance.
im not acting snobbish. im telling you facts.
i can say for one though that i had issue leveling up my second char and still have issues cause of p2 and the overwhelming amount of people on the server.
i did go through actual pvp ganking and griefing and camping and the whole lot on both characters.
you cant invalidate my actual experience nor the experience of the countless others than had to deal with all that stuff.
you dont know yet but you will if you are indeed leveling on a pvp server.
all those times you diddnt want to pvp and still got ganked or dragged into some battle you diddnt want are valid things that pve players have the option to do and can choose not to whenever they like.
but ya try again.
Work smarter, not harder.
Good philosophy to follow in life.
i know many “tricks” to avoid it when i want but even that is no fail proof option.
when the other faction want to get in fights with you they will.
I don’t know any tricks that will get Alliance to stop sitting in IF.
It actually annoys me seeing the amount of 60s hanging out instead of rallying to fight back the Horde so that us low level Alliance players can continue to level up to become part of that fight. I know it’s the one thing I look forward to when I hit 60, I just don’t look forward to the inevitable speed corpse runs to dungeons just so I can get my pre bis or get funneled into dungeons since quest zones are on farm.
I’m actually still lvl41 because I wpvp more than I quest, it’s my favorite thing to do and it’s semi fun since the zones I’m in aren’t camped.
PvE to PvP transfers weren’t available in vanilla… because of the exact idea you just presented.
What is so wrong about wanting to join a balanced server?
What’s stopping you from joining a balanced server?
I can’t see why they would open paid transfers and then restrict them. They stand to make too much money from freely allowing people to transfer wherever, whenever for the $25 per toon or whatever it costs. It’s been obvious from launch that health of the game is not a priority for Blizzard so spare me that argument.
Frankly I don’t see why some people are so very concerned with how others spend their money. If I wanna throw down cash to move 6 toons around constantly, that’s my call to make just as much as it’s someone else’s call to shove cheeseburgers down their throat until they die of heart problems.
It’s the early stages of Classic, my server was semi balanced until the transfers hit. That is what keeps me from rerolling again on a “balanced” server now that might not be in the future.
Since I can’t predict the future, rolling PvE would be a wise option for now until the servers become more fleshed out so that by the time paid transfers are available. I would have better knowledge as to what server I should join.
And the same thing could happen to the server you transfer to.
That is not an impediment to rolling on one now.
I can predict the future. I predict that you will not be able to transfer from a PvE server to a PvP server.
So pick a balanced PvP server and roll there now.
Alright, so PvE to PvP is not an option. PvP to PvP will be an option though, I’ll just wait for that and pick whatever balanced server suits me at that time.
This also means that PvE to PvP is no different and would help with faction balance since the majority of Alliance players are on PvE, so if they transfer to a PvP server it helps. If they don’t it won’t matter.
But then why not roll on a balanced server now?
None exist.
There are several PvP servers in the US region that appear relatively balanced.
pve to pvp wasn’t a thing in vanilla pvp to pve was, your idea unless blizz has completely lost their mind wont be a thing.
I’m aware, PvE to PvP I think is more beneficial than PvP to PvE.
It’s also basically “pay to win”, since people can level up in safety and then transfer over.
if you want to play on a pvp server you have to level on a pvp server
if you want to play on a pvp server you have to deal with all that comes on a pvp server there is no cowards way to the top here.
