Maybe they should go all the way on that and remove gear from M+ entirely.
stat template M+, so everyone’s max geared while running keys from day 1 ofthe season.

I think you need some form of power so the masses play.
Smells like corporate really wants to keep the boosting monetization at play. Theyre throwing devs and community managers under the bus.

Guys, we just got dinars, you can stop fetishizing how you can make M+ game design worse because Blizzard wants to make it better 
? I play m+. I want it to be better.

It can be improved… like walling off raid gear from it.
(And M+ gear gets walled off in turn.)

Blizzard would rather make sure both get equitable BLP for their respective loot pools and ensure that people who want to take their character into both can continue to do so

What Blizzard decides to do is often not the best.
If it’s just accepting the will of our overlords, there wouldn’t be a 5000 post thread.
i find it puzzling this thread made it to a part 2.
But you thought that what they decided to do with cartel chips was the best until today, what changed?
??? I already said multiple times the dinars weren’t the best implementation.
It’s just better than the original version.
This current version of letting M+ players buy stuff is still better than the original version.
Original being: everyone gets mythic raid gear without reqs.

Gear has value in the game.
It isn’t one where you just… get handed a full set of best gear so you can just do stuff.
(Some people hate the process of attaining gear.)

There should be another tuning pass for trinkets to shrink the difference because some raid trinkets like House of Cards are still better on their hero track than every single M+ trinket on myth track for some classes.
Another thing that would make this feel less bad is if they allowed hero track trinkets purchased with the Puzzling Cartel Chips to be updated to myth track once the respective Mythic bosses have been killed.
