just reading about the rotation helper thing… i feel like it could be good for more casual players. it will probably take them some time to refine it but id prob rather have the rot helper for people vs dinars… if i had to choose. I dont think established players will even bother because they dont need help
Unless it’s a hefty penalty, why not bind it during chaotic moments? lolol.
So like you need maybe 50% dps loss via gcd just by using it… or something. People don’t remotely play optimally.

agreed, evidently there built in penaly of .2 seconds if people are correct. Then it’s quality is based on someone constantly refining the apl. Nobody talking about the apparent plan to replace boss mods and recount and such either. given their track record on addons i hope for the best
if .2 seconds also works for healers, I’m probably going to be spamming it in mythic raid. Small price to pay for automatic correct target selection.
yeah these are all good questions and points. i feel like i wouldnt use it unless i was learning a new class maybe but if it just helps people then why not. They wont pull their sim dps but if theyre not a carry then at least everyone wins. I doubt you will see this in mythic play but you bring up a good point about the healer specifically. I would do that too lolol. Or at least try it out to see.

Just be honest and say anything that doesn’t gift you free Mythic gear is bad.

Back in WOTLK I healed a few raids with nothing but rejuv and it worked just fine.

well to be fair, i also played a rdruid in wotlk and rejuv was pretty darn good in that xpac… but cheers to that

Nah not really, main is done. Alt is only 665 and could use a couple heroic pieces. Also alt is just much better but thats something for the class balance thread
This is a complete nonsense change to these. So much planning on gearing happened based off your assertion that the dinars would have an upgrade track, comparing them to dragonflight s4 items. Any plans at all to address the bait and switch that occured here?

I def was hit with some minor loot “oof” moments when I didnt roll on some House of cards/BiS/etc type stuff -expecting to be able to get a myth track later that i will upgrade.
Now I gotta throw my hat back in the ring and start rolling on those drops again.

Yep in same boat, we had house of cards and BestInSlots both drop this week out of only 3 pieces of loot. Pretty lucky week for us

People already did this bit when the store mount combo came out.
Then when the housing update cane out.
Then the trading post for next month.
Im hoping the delay in followup is because they want to rework it and are in the middle of it.
The usual pessimist in me says otherwise.
They had a million ways to implement dinars, and they chose the one with boosting monetization in it.
