They should’ve just given 3 chips total, 1 chip per purchase, and dropped the quest every 3 weeks. But certified Blizzard energy

There’s only 2 slots to catch up on anyway, 2 trinkets. It’s barely content. For me it was one trinket and I didn’t even do it because I’m retiring my Priest lol.
Not only that, but my guild stopped raiding right before we got AOTC and the Dinars haven’t done anything to address that. You can have Ruth Chris steakhouse cater your wedding, but if no one shows up it doesn’t matter.
I think they need to focus on doing something about getting people into Mythic raids. They need to start trying things and not just sit there and do nothing while the game slowly dies.

Because it sure as hell feels like it.
I don’t think they do it to intentionally make people upset, but I think they don’t research anything or do any type of homework, basically they have zero “street smarts”. All their intelligence and data comes from spreadsheets.
That’s why they send out those email surveys. Because they have no clue what to do.

I kind of lean towards the idea that the quest should just offer more chips based on weeks not completed.
Sure, if you want 7 weeks and do the quest you get it all done at once, but then you missed out on 7 weeks of the gear. I kind of don’t care if people cheese it that way. I don’t think there’s a lot of value in forcing people to need to sit there and spam tons of LFR or dungeons for the weekend in order to catch up.

So it’s either Blizz’ system designs are complete fools who never seem to get the message, or they’re intentionally lowballing the rate stuff can be obtained to probe how much grind the playerbase is able to stomach.
