It should just be retroactive. do the quest once to catch up to the max allowance for that week, not keep killing bosses over and over for the week and get nothing for it. Or just have it every 3 weeks.

Im not going to be thankful for something that should have existed at the start. There wss absolutely zero reason to not have this in othet than “Player engagement is down, quick do something!”
The multitudes of threads, and replies, arguing for even stricter gatekeeping of gear based on the ironic excuse of “earning it” from people incapable of earning it would prove you wrong.

The majority of the whining is from entitled players that think they should have myth track raid gear for doing LFR in a competitive season.

Did they though? You have to keep killing 4 bosses over and over for just one token. The raid only has 8 which means you will be forced to clear a difficulty lower than your preferred one just for this quest (and if only do LFR you’re SoL). The whole point of this system is bad luck protection for those who have been incredibly unlucky and still haven’t gotten these items. Punishing them further with even more mindless grinding is just cruel at this point.
I mean, LFR it and the entire thing is over in 1 hour max.
Better than nothing I guess.
Just goes to show no matter what Blizz does people are so entitled they will complain.

Do LFR then. Gally + 2 Heads should take just a bit more than half an hour and takes bugger all work since you can usually just 2 button it. It really then boils down to when you do LFR since it can be busy or dead depending on when you play.
