Put layering back on Herod pls

Bimbow, you are wrong sorry. It’s almost 2020, they should be able to have servers hold THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, period, if anyone thinks other wise, they are mentally dumb. Not one server should have que times. This is just pure pathetic cr@p from Blizzard.

[citation needed]

Private servers literally created faction ratio queues. Imagine suggesting that a billion dollar company that charges $15 a month to play the game would break a sweat doing so.

Edit: good grief, 20% of the posts in this thread are you white knighting and running interference for blizzard, so that they won’t have to actually spend development time on a major issue, in a game that thousands if players are paying $15 a month to access. Are you for real?

Because it wouldn’t change anything. Why waste the dev time on a temporary fix for 1-2 weeks?

You are not going to solve faction imbalances with queues and transfers. Only thing that MIGHT help is something like forced transfers or faction caps, don’t allow more horde characters if the balance is off, but neither of those are a good idea.

No I’m staying on Herod. See ya in un’goro you Devilsaur farmers. Can’t hide from me now without layer!

Nobody leaves Herod!

Unfortunately you can’t ask a multi billion dollar company to make a change like faction ques on short notice. They’re simply not nimble enough to pull it off. By the time the proposal makes it through the chain of approvals the problem will already be over.

It would not be a temporary fix. It would appear each and every time the threshold is passed, until the server rights itself again.

Well you have a 100% chance of it not fixing the issue if you only have one and not the other. You cannot get folks to transfer without incentive. Getting out of a queue=incentive.

Wrap it up Blizzard, everything you haven’t tried hasn’t worked.

I play on Herod but #nochanges. No layering!

People on Herod should have known this was coming. You can always transfer for free

There’s been like 2-3 free transfers BEFORE this when queues were longer, people who were going to transfer already have. There may be some solo trickles, but nothing of substances, people are established now, they have guilds, a friend circle, who’s going to give that up to escape a couple of weeks of queue? If they were there since launch they sat through worse.

Quite honestly dude, I could care less at this point and have zero sympathy for people that are standing in the glowing puddle and griping that they cannot get dry and their HPs are dropping.

Their queues are not going away in “a couple” weeks, unless a considerable number nut up, organize. and move together to the target realms.

To be quite honest, the servers in such states should not progress into P2 until their pops go down.

People will quit again after they see what they want to see. then it will happen again for a couple of weeks when p3 comes, and p4, and p5, and p6. There’s no point in losing your friend circle and guild over it.

Sure, we’ll lose some solo players and maybe a few guilds as a whole, but it’s better to have queues and be populated then wonder where your pop will be a year from now, two years from now.
