You knew it was going to be a popular server.
You knew based on crowd hype, and then several more times as Blizzard threw up signs like “High” “Full”.
Probably even had chances to transfer off 50 times.
You. Knew.

Except they haven’t… you’re just arguing in circles.
Point is, neither of these are going to fix anything… go ahead, do the queue thing, two weeks from now we’re back to faction imbalance.
Except they have… you’re just arguing in circles.
Point is, neither of these are going to fix anything… but they don’t have to be perfect solutions.

They have NEVER done faction specific queues.
And what you’re proposing is 10000000% temporary, a 2 week solution, at least transfers if people take them are permanent.

They’re doing faction specific transfer right now you dolt.
That doesn’t contradict the statement I made.
Is none of this getting through your thick skull?
The fact that I can change a few words and it still makes sense should be a clue that your arguments are complete garbage.
Except they’re not, you know it.
They’re doing faction specific transfers because it’s easy, faction queues would take more time because the current login server doesn’t look at what faction you are playing, it just, you know… logs you in.
They are, and if you don’t see that, you’re the “dolt”.
They should do faction specific queuess because it’s easy, faction specific transfers would take more time because the current transfer mechanism doesn’t look at what faction you are playing, it just, you know… transfers your character.
By contrast, the login server actually knows not only what server you’re on, but what faction and what specific character you last played.
You getting it yet?
You have zero basis to even know that.
And as I said, go ahead and do it, not like it will fix anything, but keep pushing for it, sure all the hunters who are STILL waiting for game breaking bugs to be fixed will love you for it.
Sure I do. I can log in and see it work.

You can log in and see it put you into the last server you were on, /golfclap, the login server is on a server basis. You’ve proved nothing.
But keep pushing for your 1-2 week “fix” that won’t change a SINGLE damn thing. If anything it would just piss people off.
Don’t turn this into an example of how “Blizz screwed up Classic” because this is 100% your fault. How many months ago were we told that layering would be removed by P2 and to transfer off (I’m talking about the transfers before the recent faction specific ones) to less populated realms?
You had more than enough warnings and ample time to react to those warnings…oh wait…my troll detectors are going off.
Lol Stabbwound, good one! I mean really, this was some solid bait. 9/10
When you log in, you go back to the character you last played. Not just the server… not just the faction… it knows the specific character.
I’m sure those pissed off people won’t change behavior one bit. That’s why free transfers have had zero effect.
Wait… this just in: QUEUES CAUSE PLAYERS TO TRANSFER
What? That’s crazy! Who could have predicted this?
Actually, it doesn’t, it hovers you over the last POSITION you played on, if you play on multiple servers it will always select the character in the same position as the last character you played on the other server.
Except for a lot of people, they don’t, transferring means losing your guild, your friends, and possibly ending up a server that will be dead in a year. Most people just tough it out. The people who were willing to transfer already have at this point.
Actually, when I switch realms, it seems to always put me back at the top of the list.
Regardless, the login server doesn’t just know which realm you were last on.
And for a lot of people, they do.
What was your point again?
If you have 10 characters on a server and you play number 10 and then switch to a server with 5 it’ll put you at number 5.
Btw, it’s not the login server that knows what realm you were last on, it’s a setting in a file on your PC
I have two characters on Incendeus and 3 on herod. When I log in to character 2 on one server, log back out, log in (to the character select screen), and switch servers, it always seems to put me back to position 1.
Maybe it’s broken in Classic and just sends you to the top /shrug, i only play on 1 server in classic so I can’t test it, but it does that on live.
BTW it’s probably not the “login” server that controls the queue. That’s probably run by the server itself.
Maybe. I can’t see the code from where I’m sitting. That’s one of the reasons I’m mocking you. You don’t know how these mechanisms work or how hard they’d be to change.
You DO know it would help, though, so stop trolling by pretending you don’t.
