Punishing folks who like the trading post

i got 5300 tender with 1500 more on the way tomorrow.

Stuff has already been recycled at least twice now. August has stuff from previous months.

just make choices.

Just…buy the stuff you like.

If you like multiple things then get the one you like more and/or freeze something.

Just getting us ready when they do make Tenders purchasable. When they do, the players will praise them.

I feel like the more likely scenario is that they just let you earn more. Like, $5 a month and you can earn up to 2000 or 2500 tenders a month finishing more of the little objectives.

Rather than just letting people straight up buy them.

I can see them being purchasable with Gold.

At prices that will nudge players to buy WoW Tokens.

Ehhh, maybe you can buy the “pass” with gold, and the pass allows you to just complete as many of the activities that give them. Just buying them feels too direct.

Yup. I picked up evoker as soon as DF came out. A month later I got burned off the timegate entirely.

People in this game are weird, when something optional comes up, they act like if they don’t get it, then Ion will kick in their front door and kick them in the ribs until they buy all the things on the Post.

There are certainly better things to look at while sipping the morning cold brew, but high on the list has to be watching privileged children in adult bodies talk about how playing video games is literal punishment.

Yeah, those greedy jerks implementing a cash shop that has it’s rewards earned by playing the game regularly.

How devious of them.

“Punishment” lmao

But is it a slap in the face?

Grab the stuff that looks more unique and might not be coming back terribly soon. Or stuff that looks seasonal. Then fill out the rest of what you want.

Wich timegate ?

I laugh at people that just HAS to collect everything. LOL
Especially mogs or mounts when they can only use one.

BlizZard games fanbase never fails to confuse and amuse me by how they aggressively want to pay for a game they refuse to play.

What’s the name of that petulant little girl in Willy Wonka that stamps her feet and says “I want an oompa loompa and I want it now!!” and just generally runs around being an irritating, entitled crybaby because her rich daddy spoiled her into believing she could have everything she wants?

I can’t remember, but anyway I thought about her while reading this thread. Weird.
