I took a few months off to play Monster Hunter and like a dozen backlog games, but I’m ready to step back in, taters be damned.
I am pumped for the game to get worse to the point where blizzard realizes they are no longer standing in a burning building, but they see the ashes blow with the wind.

Not really. I’ve been playing FFXIV and thoroughly enjoying it.
I’ve been tossing up whether or not to go back for 9.1. I’m curious about the raid, but I’m not prepared to do the grind. I won’t enjoy the grind and there is a game I am enjoying. It seems silly to do all that work just for the raid.
I might log on tomorrow. I’ve got the day off but… I probably won’t.

I will log in and try it out but I’ve been playing other games and having a good time.
Glad for new content but wow isn’t as exciting for me anymore.

I’ve never had less fun tanking than I did in 9.0. It’s honestly the worst it’s ever been and Blizz is not addressing it at all. CN was crazy boring to tank until P3 sire, and M+ was basically just running from mobs for the majority of the patch. Needless to say I’m not playing 9.1 at launch.

Lots of positives in 9.1, but it has its fair share of negatives as well. I’ll decide for myself after getting into it for a bit. Gonna be on another new character, so I’ll have the honeymoon phase at least.
This is one of the things that has been addressed. All m+ mobs deal 10% less auto attack damage, which should somewhat curb the reliance on kiting. At least until we get back into stupid high territory again. Not sure if they’ve made raid tanking any better though.

I stopped playing Shadowlands after a few weeks of its release. I didn’t need to have anyone tell me I didn’t like it. I leveled two characters to max level, and looked at all the hoops Blizzard wanted me to jump through in order to raid or pvp, and it wasn’t worth it to me.
I looked into coming back and playing 9.1. But dear lord Blizzard is adding even more crazy systems and currencies on the mountain of existing ones. I don’t anyone to tell me I don’t like more of the same craziness.
If others are finding it exciting then that’s wonderful. I wish I could feel that way about it. But trying to divide players, by assuming they’re all sheep if they don’t like 9.1, is just being as negative as the streamers you don’t like.

You should go play the easy and fun game then, stop playing the challenging and boring game.
I really don’t care I dislike Shadowlands. I am not exited to make the same things all over again with boring campaigns and a terrible story.

I’m definitely excited for it. I definitely understand the frustrations some people have been expression, but from my own experiences so far I’ve been enjoying SL and I’m excited for 9.1, even if there was a wait. What I’ve seen so far in the notes honestly looks pretty good. I feel like I might enjoy Torghast a little more, mythics look like they’ll be some more fun, and the new dungeon looks beautiful. Wish there was still a focus on adding more character customization, but I can dream.
I’m… cautiously hopeful about the story. I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers as best as possible, but I feel like so far it’s been all right and that it’s going in a good direction. Guess I’ll see.
