#PullTheRipcord

It’s a dressed up reputation, and Blizzard keeps trying to sell us a bridge to nowhere with this false equivalence of them being “subclasses.”

Imagine how much TBC would have been hated if the Aldor rewards simmed 30% better than the Scryers.

Im talking above you. Your look broadly I am speaking in a binary level. See you around

Random BG LFR HEro here putting in his support for

#pulltheripcord

It’s not only min/maxers that want it.

If covenants are more then just skills and abilities paired to them then separating the abilities should not be a problem .

Glad the Covenants are the reason Blizzard couldn’t get the expansion out on time. Also can’t wait for them to still be completely imbalanced and unfun when the game finally releases on the 31st of December at 11:59 PM

Thats what people want to turn them into lol. Another grind for cosmetics and mounts. I want something more.

I am still looking forward to covenants as-is. I think the expansion delay is only to fix some number issues that will simply balance things better.

Leave the ripcord alone Blizz.

Wonder if they will pull that ripcord now after the lied about SL not being delayed.

Then ask for more from the classes. The covenants are going away within two years of release. If they were actually permanent I would agree with the design. But they are not.

Ok leave the soul binds , covenat specific ability and the conduits in just separate the class abilities .

Or is what you really want is I want to see other players suffer because that is how I get my enjoyment .

You wouldn’t be the fist person to say that .

What you want is for our classes to only be fun to play some times rather than all the times. All for the sake of some “meaningful” choice that’s never once been shown to demonstrate how it’s any more meaningful than talents.

Imagine any other game trying to spin 1 active ability ranges from 30 second cd to 3 minutes and a utility ability as a subclass. God it’s just so lazy.

I like the change of pace that borrowed power brings. You do realize that all power is borrowed right? Your ilevel , rankings, ioscore and so on are borrowed. At the beginning of each new expansion. They are taken away. I don’t understand your argument with every 2 years…

Nothing you said is a response to core class mechanics

I think that is a fair compromise.

They really need to figure out a better way to implement these systems then is currently available. It’s a giant mess trying to balance all the knobs on the beta right now.

Also conduits are terrible. Out of all the systems these are going to end up being one of the most hated part of the expansion with how you need the drops and ranks…soulbinds are going to be impossible to make competitive.

Soulbinds have been nerfed so much they are basically irrelevant now and I think covenant abilities are going the same way.

When people mentioned within a few percent i don’t think any of us thought of the scenario where they literally only do 1-2% of our damage/healing. Blizzard are turning them into minor azerite traits with an on-use.

That is actually what most of the ripcord pullers have been asking for .

It’s never been about jumping from covenant to covenant .

We want to pick one and stick with it but the class abilities should of always been talents.

They want nothing but mounts and cosmetic.

Yup. The ripcord pullers just want covenants to be meaningless fluff. I sincerely hope that does not happen. Player power means real choice.

I can’t entirely be mad at some of the folks here though. We’ve been used to swapping everything nilly-willy for so long, it’s going to be tough to handle for some. But welcome to a real RPG style game.
