But yes you could say that me using the past here is basicly to show that I’m removing myself from the game. Yes people change, but games change too. And I’ll still be playing video games next year and probably some other mmos. So did I change much? Probably not.
They probably make more now, than they ever did at peak subs wow because of microtrans alone.
Hard to guess exactly, but if it was even half of what it was in Wrath or BC, they’d be singing from the heavens about it.

This isn’t an issue Blizzard should fix. This is a guild issue or raid issue etc. Stop demanding drastic changes just to make a “Raid” or “Mythic +” . If your guild is forcing you into a covenant then find another guild.

I still think the vision is not the problem, it’s the execution that is lacking imo. They did covenants dirty. I’m not sure what we have on beta can be said to even be a proper test of them.
If you think this is all about guilds forcing people to pic right covenants you are wrong .
THe issues are going to be mainly with pugging and another reason is because people want to experiment. All the covenant class abilities should of been given to their respective class as new talents.
Content is so much better when cant do it right! I mean I love having to be locked into ST vs AOE not to mention being locked into a spec on pure dps classes.

It’s not about guilds forcing anyone, It’s about players not wanting to be a burden to their team by doing 20% less damage than they could be.
Players will follow the meta… They will choose one of the three pillars, pvp, M+, or raids and pick the covenant best for that content.
Whatever they choose to feel, is a product of the meaningful choice.
Enabling switching and pulling the ripcord, is avoiding making a choice.

It depends if you used the services because if you did they might lock your account. But if you can receive a refund without account locking that is a good outcome. 
I love ripcords. Preferably ones that are left untouched.
Leave the ripcord alone, it’s a good boy that did nothing wrong.
Pull the ripcord like the weed it is. Only way to have a healthy garden.
