They aren’t making a mistake. They are following their vision.
I wish their vision wasn’t a metaphorical electrocution.
It’s really only that way for a loud but small subset of the population.
Yup.
Question for all in this thread.
Can this dev team afford to wait to till January 2021 or February of 2021 with the first patch to pull the ripcord? That is a mighty llllllllllloooooooooooong time to let players stew with no fix in sight.
Because there is no way they are pushing the first patch during holiday season of Nov/Dec/early Jan.
BlizZard has put all their chips in with borrowed power and their backup plan is at the earliest in January of 2021. Huge gamble.
And I think this time the house loses badly with such a gamble.
Everything is already set. You wont see any changes till 9.2 if at all.
Season 1 opens November 10th. They already announced it.
I’m worried.
We, the illidari demand that the cord be pulled.
Then we are getting new devs. Bean counters are not going to allow another BFA on their watch.
If patch 9.2 comes out the earliest being what March? That is a long time for a “fix” for covenants.
It’s cause the loud ones are the ones in the room.
The actual majority are off in other rooms doing whatever, and when Blizzard jams that fork in the socket and they lose power because if it, they’re going to be directly effected and they’re going to be pissed.
And then, they will just keep paying their subs. Just like 2004 on.
Yup.
The masses don’t know that is what happened with BFA.
I was in the BFA beta and I did some warfronts/island expeditions and I realized it was all hype.
My favorite was people that didn’t try the BFA beta telling me that there was a good reason to gate warfronts for launch as it was a quality expansion feature. LMAO.
"Your life is already set, you should stop fighting agaisn’t it’s end.
Everything is predestined to happen because I, Lethal have foreseen it."
- Words of Lethal, first passage.
Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.
Lethal for 2020 election
His comment makes sense too because yes the game has issues but people wont get this experience anywhere else. Hence they keep tolerating.
There are many mmos but the charm of wow always felt different then rest.
Wow for me was always gameplay first, the game felt better to play, pve endgame content was more thoroughtly designed.
And if anything, if I wanted to play a pvp game I didn’t pvp in wow I just played another game so I don’t think pvp was ever that good xd I mostly pvped in wow for the rewards and to kill Alliance trying to snatch my mobs and nodes.
It’s a silly comment considering how small WoW is these days compared to it’s peak.
Passionate and obstinate are not the same thing.
Pretty sure we shot ourselves in the foot by being so vocal; I don’t think Blizzard sees any way they can capitulate now without seeming incredibly weak. It’s better for them (in their minds) to release a broken system than it is to fix it at the behest of protest.
Subjectively. If felt better for you. For some, it was a regression. For some it was progression.
Everyone has different tastes. I’ve been here long enough to see the winds change over and over again. I’ve seen this whole song and dance play out tons of times.
There will always be a new you. in 4 years, you might be the new me. And the cycles goes on and on, because people have different tastes and expectations.
You mean population wise ?? What’s your guess when it comes to population ?
