That seems like a silly reason but it TLDR is listed under spamming/trolling.

Spamming or Trolling

This category includes:

  • Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
  • Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
  • Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
  • Making non-constructive posts
  • Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
  • Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements

This thread and some of the replies are also walking fine lines on discussing disciplinary action. I’m not the forum police so I dont really care, but others may. Just my .02.

Technically it’s still illegal, federal law supersedes state law in this regard. I’m glad the feds aren’t enforcing it but they could.

I want comparing it to murder. I just stated wacky tobacky is illegal with the feds, so the states that have allowed it are breaking fed law as are the people using it. It may be the reason blizzard is so down on it, as they are subject to feed law, and/or are played in states that still follow that law.

I understand that, my point was that it is silly Blizzard uses it as a precedent, given the illegal acts we conduct in game.

Furthrmore, no, they are not at all subject to the law in regards to their game. That only applies in terms of censorship and game ratings.

Trust me they don’t have to prove anything to be ridiculous. The appeals process is a joke and they, customer service, back each other even if the first was wrong.
