That would be my guess but it should have been populated a week before it went live. The fact that its happened before means that it was easily preventable.
At the very least there should be an in game warning. Otherwise people dont check twitter and forums until there is a problem.

Yeah, why do i need to log into another character to acquire a currency. For purchasing the essences, sure, for the currency, makes no sense. At least if thereâs going to be some random issue like this, that the majority of people wont know about, add in a pop-up quest to unlock it, or something that explains what you have to to. Im sure a huge portion of people didnât know this and missed out on a lot of currency as a result. Pretty silly.
kinda glad i dont play until night time so i can see these threads first, blizz really needs to fix this disconnect and reimburse
