Multiple Collectors Editions (of multiple games) stopped being redeemable years ago. Not sure if they ever fixed it.
Someone I know spent like $2,000 on Diablo III CE and was unable to redeem the Fetish Shaman pet.

It is because many people are still choosing to outright BUY the drake for $3,500 instead of watching twitch streams. People actually began to do that. So they disabled TCG codes until the event is over. They are FORCING you to watch this to get it. That is the only way you can.

The reason why Landro was disabled was that he was giving away any item regardless of code (you could type 123 and get all the items).
They are, I redeemed a TBC CE about 5 months back. At least for WoW.
