PSA: Don't Buy Coppers the Kobold

welcome to the list yourself.
I have zero tolerance for trolling…and people TELLING me what I want in here instead of just letting it go like an ADULT would.

cant deal with that?
Not anyone elses problem

I saw it in a youtube video that showed up in my feed.
Thinking cool…this would be a great toy if the CD isnt some IONized crap that ruins yet another toy pointless.

Then read the comments on wowhead…stripped of all usefulness. lol.
Typical blizzard.

Well damn… that backfired.

I was on your side. (although you’ll never know it now) :sleepy:

They’re just throwing a tantrum.

“I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT”

They sound like a toddler yelling and screaming and pounding their fists against the floor and lashing out at anybody that offers suggestions and/or reasons why what they want might not be in line with what their parents (or Blizz in this case) think is best.

Blizz nerfed it for a reason. Probably to keep it in line with the other pets that have vendor capabilities.

The response:

“HOW DARE YOU TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO! I WANT MY VENDOR BACK!”

Just like a little toddler.

I wasnt even down on him for wanting it. I just like when he blocks people. Well… people other than me… :unamused:

They’re acting like a toddler, and you’re probably better off not talking to them.

Personally I can’t stand the whole whiny spoiled brat personality who thinks the block button is a “GOTCHA!” thing. /eyeroll

Especially when they advertise that they are blocking you for maximum drama and attention, lol. They want to hurt you and they think that telling you that they are blocking you is somehow supposed to hurt your feelings, that’s how flippin petty they are, that they want to hurt your feelings over a disagreement on a forum.

If I block someone, I just click the button. I don’t need them to know I blocked them (for the record, I’ve blocked very few and did not block this one).

Reminds me when they released the dread wake and it bobbed in the water like all the other mounts and didn’t float. Its was a serious oversight. To this day I still don’t use it.

I like the drama of it. Kind of like in 'The Breakfast Club" when the teacher is racking up detentions on Bender. “You just bought yourself another week, pal!”

Meh, I find it rather eye-rolly myself.

Random people on the internet suck at drama, they’re not interesting, they’re boring, and any chuckles gotten from them don’t last long.

The Dreadwake makes it almost impossible to see where the frick you’re going so I tend not to use it unless it gets called as a random mount, and even then sometimes I’ll dismount and remount because seriously, it takes up half of the viewing area, how are you supposed to see where you’re going!?

any chuckle is a good chuckle in my book.

That one about blew my mind. A boat that doesnt float or interact with water any differently than a horse mount, lol.
IS it lack of creativity or sheer laziness? lol

LOL

Blizzard: “heres a toy with lots of cool stuff”

Blizzard: “oh, sorry, did you think we were gonna leave that cool stuff on that toy…sucker”

Forum jokers: “you people are so entitled expecting blizzard to give a cool toy and NOT nerf the hell out of it just when you decided you wanted it”

This forum is great entertainment most days…better than slapstik lmao

He had a purpose? That’d have been cool, I just wanted him for the collection lol

Learn from my mistake…

I found a video showing this incredible pet’s abilities and decided to get one myself. After summoning the pet and trying to access the repair function, I suspected I had bought the wrong one since the special function wasn’t available. So, I went back to the vendor and noticed he was still selling ‘Coppers the Kobold.’ The pet I had previously obtained, however, was simply named ‘Coppers,’ so I assumed I’d made a mistake and bought the wrong one. So I went a head and purchased ‘Coppers the Kobold,’ only to realize afterwards they were actually the same pet! So after all the excitement of pursuing this pet, I ended up wasting TWO Firelight Rubies on a pet that is now useless and no way to get a refund on my two rubies.

would have been an awesome addition to my accounts.
ruined by the Fun Killers at blizzard.

I had no idea that was even a thing. I bought him only because he was cute and really had nothing else to spend the gems on after buying mumbles or whatever that little mole guy’s name is.

the first I heard of the toy was a youtube video popped in my feed that was made before they removed its abilities.
I get all excited, run over to do whatever work is required…and in the meantime I read on wowhead not to bother…Ion has decided to remove more fun from something else in the game. lol

Same, I only bought him because he’s unique and there isn’t much to spend the gem on anyway.

The fact there’s a kobold pet that can actually fight, that drops from kobold delves, makes Coppers’ uselessness even worse.

And then there’s the snobold pet from 1st boss in ToGC in Wrath, wayyy older but another example.

Oh man this reminded me of people putting pet leashes on their Argent Squire/Gruntling.
