So for anybody who wants 4k gold in less than 5 minutes of work, do this:
-Requirements: Have all of the Haranir artifacts done
-Be Level 90
-Own a Home.
Step 1: Grab the weekly Apex quest. Choose the Housing quest.
Step 2: Take the Harandar Portal.
Step 3: Visit the Harandir Artifact Weekly NPC.
Step 4: Take his quest.
Step 5: Choose Aln’hara’s Bloom.
Step 6: Turn quest in, get followup quest
Step 7: Fly to the vision stone and use it.
One of two will happen:
Step 8a: If it works properly, interact with the four NPCs, touch the stone, do the minigame, touch the two light rays and fly into the cave and loot the bloom.
Step 8b: If it glitches (you don’t hear the narration and none of the NPCs are interactable), log out a nd log back in which will auto-complete the quest.
Step 9: Turn Aln’hara’s Bloom in, get Apex Cache for 2k gold guaranteed.
Step 10: This also completes the Housing Quest this week (and any other week this month that offers the Housing Quest as one of the Apex Choices).
Step 11: Enjoy your 4k - 36k gold (each of the two boxes can give 2k, 5k, or 18k gold!).
You can do this on every Lv90 you have and it takes less than 5 minutes to do.
Legends of the Haranir is not a repeatable endeavor task, you have to do something else after your first character.
Before you suggest them no none of the other weekly events are repeatable endeavor tasks either.
I’d say ditch the housing quest just do Salathriel’s soiree instead, blow 3 coins on the magisters they have 3 quests up this week that can all be done in 20 seconds or less, give a fourth coin to the farstriders another 20 second quest that doesn’t even require you to get off your mount.
Owning a home takes <15 minutes to do, and if you haven’t been doing the Haranir weekly quest to get all the artifacts, you should be because they are all easy quests and once you have them all done, the Bloom one in particular is laughably easy for the rewards it gives you.
Geez. I have a 90 and 2 83s. The 83s have only got there through crafting alone. I don’t look forward to finishing them off at the end of the expansion, either.
If I had to do that much to retain my double digit millionaire status, I think I’d rather be poor.
I’m jealous in a way, I wish I had that much enthusiasm to bother with other toons.
