Have they ever once in the 13 months they’ve been doing the Trading Post, every continued a model with simply more recolors?? I’m 99.9% sure they haven’t.
While each month might have recolors of OTHER mounts, it’s not the SAME mount as a previous month.
There won’t be green foxes next month. Not a chance.
And if I get 500 dream leaf from a couple of laps around valsharah, that whole stack counts as 500 sales. Selling one whole stacks counts as one sale per item in that stack, it’s not one sale.
Those numbers add up quickly over the course of a month.
This should have been included in the monthly reward with the other look. Boo.
Or you could have done something clever and revitalized the holiday vendors a bit by adding this set to the vendors for the event currency. But why update holidays when there’s a fast buck to be made. I suppose in some ways it is the fault of the playerbase, even people in this thread joking about their inability to resist paying out money for this.
It’s just another way of monetizing the token shop, tokens aren’t being sold directly but something that would have been on the shop (and apparently will be in future?? probably for 800-1000 tokens or something ridiculous) can be bought for cash thus saving tokens for those who buy which is just another way of selling tokens.
This is on top of the shame that is selling the holiday trader’s cart weapon looks twice, one cost for each color instead of bundling them.
To me this is impressive. I’ve never been the one to play the AH.
What percentage of your sales are from farming vs flipping? Knowing my luck I’d try to buy some things to flip and end up either stuck with them or selling them at a loss.
Apparently they spend all of their time either farming or flipping, no other content being done. over 180k items vendored is a lot of farming, basically they treat it like a job.
