The fact that you implied the s2 tier set being better than the s1 tier set proves that you are a noob that doesnt know what their talking about.
First of all the tier set bonuses will be brought up to par with the current power level meaning it will likely be higher than 6%.
Its literally the only prot tier set this xpac that isnt hot garbage.

I don’t think so. Cleansing Flame did 6.5% of my damage in my last key. That was with an evoker, so if I remove Blistering Scales, Breath of Eons, Inferno’s Blessing, and Fate Mirror from the equation, it would be about 7.1% of my damage. It sims at 8.4% (5 mobs, 1 min). Given that the reality of dungeons is quite different from a patchwerk fight, that’s close enough for me.
The value of a 6% vers buff on an ally dps depends somewhat on how much vers they already have. Let’s say they have 20%. Then a 6% vers buff is a 5% damage increase for them. But dps should be doing at least double your damage. So that 5% damage increase is equivalent in value to a 10% increase in your damage. And Cleansing Flame doesn’t do that much damage. Hence, the vers buff on an ally alone is worth more damage than S3 4-piece.
If we add the effect of both vers buffs, assuming it’s worth 5% damage on yourself, we’re talking the equivalent of a 15% increase in your damage. Around double the damage contribution of Cleansing Flames. I’m assuming 100% uptime here, which is an idealisation, but between Grand Crusader procs and Blessed Hammer extension it’s gonna be pretty close to permanent.

The mindset of playing the class as it was intended? Consecrate is one of prots main damage mitigation abilities and threat generation. all they did was buff it for every 5 judgements. its people like you that don’t know how to play the class, ruin it for the ones that do know how to play it.

its sad people fail to see the straight dr you get from this seasons tier on top of the ridiculous damage you can do with it. but id rather see season one come back than the dog water that was season two.

Min maxing is how a 20 year old MMO is supposed to be played? Here I was thinking it was for entertainment.
The season 3 set is literally the best set if you know how to play prot paladin and don’t just waste consecrate because you don’t know when or how to plan around it.

It doesnt work like that forced movement is forced movement regardless of trying to plan around it sure you can say “I will just hold it until I dont have to move for a while” well then your just missing the 25% DR from conc putting yourself in danger until you do drop it there is a reason people hate this tier set it sounds great on paper but in an actual combat scenario its not good or fun to use
I played prot paladin in season 2 and heart fire burn was a complete joke . Whoever is advocating season 2 is trolling you guys .
Season 1 tier takes all . 6% vers is ridiculous in raid and m+ that’s the difference between living and dying for your teammate

Second time, for the bleachers. Something being fun or not is independent of skill. Just because I think X is not fun doesn’t make me bad. Heck, I’ve watched world class wow players agree with some of my opinions. By your logic I should be playing with Liquid when I agree with Max on opinions of game design (I think those are the correct names).
I have no doubt you are better than me at this game. I couldn’t care less. But you don’t appear skilled at logic.
