No no… I said condemn is better mitigation for rage spent, but only slightly (~5%). Unless of course your target dies before consuming it, as mentioned. I might have expressed myself poorly then.
You’re right that IP stacks up to twice, just checked. That’s news to me since it isn’t explicit in the skill. Still you can condemn more targets on the start of a pull, and generating enough rage on pull is rather easy with charge / unstoppable or ravager / booming etc, and condemn takes care of both extra damage and mitigation in this situation.
Which brings me to the actual problem I have with condemn. It’s optimal only in certain situations, usually in the beginning of a pull, meaning it complicates the spec considerably as otherwise you have to switch to the “normal” rotation.
And you technically don’t NEED comdemn at all to function.
So despite still being mathematically sound, I am indeed in favor of a rework for the skill so that it can fit more seamlessly in the rotation overall.
