We have the code for it, just need animations.
Take priests divine star, change it a little.
They can equip it, but w/o shield equipped they lose a couple of key abilities which makes them unviable to tank…so they should just go ret if they want to wield 2 handers.
OH and most of the work is already done. You know Blizzard and their “reskins”.

Paladins wield hammers. Hammers only.
They can, but they wouldn’t be able to use abilities that require a shield. So they’d be at a massive tanking disadvantage.
Mog restrictions. 2 hands mog to 2 hands, 1 hands mog to 1 hands.
So you couldn’t use Tyr’s hammer on a ret pally then?
Not effectively. You’d have to equip a 1 hander, and I’m pretty sure most of their abilities require a 2 hander equipped.
Awwww, that sucks. That hammer looks so cool and would suit a dwarf ret pally so well.
Wait, I think I might be confused. Are we talking about the prot or holy artifact? If it’s the holy one it should be able to be used, since it was a 2 hander.
We only took back what was ours first.
On topic. The changes are nice. I’ll be so glad when I can mog the MM Artifact appearances as BM. And the Unholy DK one as Blood. Even DH, being able to use some of the amazing Havoc appearance as Vengeance will be nice.
Though Druids definitely made out the best with all the changes. Being able to change the appearance for each form is great.
The artefact weapon weapon I think holy gets which is Tyr’s hammer I believe. Would that be usable on a ret pally or is it considered a one-hander because of the off hand book?
I forgot about the book. Not sure, for some reason I thought it was a 2 hander.
It’s a 2h and usable as ret. The book is just cosmetic.
Right on. I’ll be making a Dorf pally when the changes hit then.
