Proof that WoW devs play Horde

Please, then.

Explain to me exactly how my Horde main, and my friends Alliance main, can be in the same guild, and raid together, do mythic keystones together, ETC.
Without either of us having to sacrifice the characters we enjoy playing?

It’s fairly obvious at this point that Allied Races were tossed together from early customization features from the overhaul, because they didn’t have a hook or pre-order bonus for BfA. One can easily assume that they’ve been working on this customization overhaul for a pretty long time, and thus they had a lot of features lying around to use.

All of the first batch of Allied Races are just reskins of existing ones, things that could be customization features. Even the Nightborne aren’t even close to what their NPC counterparts are, for instance, just reskinned Night Elves with even less unique features. Another clue is that the Dark Irons have tattoos as an option, which they never had before, and were supposed to be for Wildhammer.

All but two of the Allied Races are, in fact, just reskins, which is why the two that aren’t, Zandalari and Kul Tiran, took so long to make. So I wouldn’t count them as a sign of favoritism or otherwise, more so as a feature that was cobbled together and will probably not pop up again after BfA.

Alliance 25% xp bonus for levelling in Warmode.
Alliance Consistently The Paper Champions of Every Conflict Between them and the Horde
Alliance Picked up Both of their greatest Heroes
Alliance Got a well thought out Storyline featuring Jaina Proudmoore

To get rid of the Imbalance on either side.

Alliance favored, Horde favored, doesn’t matter.

The faction conflict is nonsense, and only ever leads to terrible, lopsided expansions.
The game would be healthier if it purged the factions like the Tumors they are.

Retribution for the near extermination of the Night Elves.
Retribution for the treatment of my Chieftain Baine Bloodhoof.

I will accept nothing less than the total AND permanent destruction of Sylvanas and Nathanos.

No character sacrifice needed.

I better get a cookie for singing to you BTW.

Okay. but then I’m not playing my main. The character I want to make progress on.

With your suggestion, I would be playing a race I don’t enjoy, in order to play with my friends.

Unless I can make an Alt that would be the Horde race I enjoy, your solution Didn’t work

This is a crazy concept… But stay with me here…
You can play both.
I KNOW, I KNOW ITS CRAZY I KNOW.
But it’s possible.

Okay. But once again, I don’t want to play both.

I would like to play as my main.

My friends would like to play races that aren’t on the Horde. But they can’t because if they do, they wont be in the guild anymore.

and it’s not worth going through the trouble of setting up a guild on the Alliance, just to have a worse time pugging, in order to play different races.

But consider for just a second. They could play any race they want, and still be in the established guild we already have.

Shocker. That would fix the problem.

Your solution boils down to “well if you want to play with your friends, you’re going to have to play a character you enjoy less”

IDK man. I guess you should try another game.
When it comes to dealing with other people, both IRL and in games, you have to give a little. Both sides do. You either give a little and be like “hey, yeah, I’ll roll an alt so we can run insert thing here together!”
OR they do that for you.
Happens in RL. I already made a post about that.

Some times, I have to do things IRL that I don’t want to do but I know it would make my friends happy. In the end? We’re both happy.

The entire point of my post is that the factions are negative to this game. I am trying to fix something I have a problem with. Get over it.

But please, Point me to the other online MMO set in the Warcraft Universe, that has all the same Raids, dungeons, and stories as WoW

Yes and for years I played on the Horde.

Then for years I was on the Alliance. Some people were happy there, Some people missed the Horde races

Now we’re back on the Horde and the problem is in reverse.

this entire issue stems from the unnecessary divide between players based on race. Something that is problematic in game, and problematic in lore.

The Significant characters of Azeroth are able to interact with each other regardless of the faction lines.
The Heroes of Azeroth are able to occupy the same space in areas like the Heart Chamber or Dalaran.

And yet I’m not allowed to be in the same guild as my friends, if they like different races from me.

No one should have to give up roleplaying the fantasy they enjoy, in order to play the game with their friends. This is a role playing game after all.

Saying “Role an Alt” doesn’t in any way fix this issue. Because I would have to give up roleplaying the type of character I want, as the race that I want. In order to participate with my friends. This is problematic design. And I’d rather see it gone, as it provides nothing to gameplay other than an annoying barrier

Still the BS with Sethrak? Again: They. Don’t. Make. Sense. To. The. Alliance. You guys helped them a little during your war campaign, we literally saved their Loa and helped them kill the Faithless leader. You’re thinking all Sethrak are enemies to all Vulpera but in reality the faction you’re thinking is the Faithless and these are enemies to everyone including the Horde, Alliance, Vulpera and even the other Sethrak Faction, the Devoted, which guess what? Are allies of the Voldunai and the Horde since we’re the ones who take their side on their ongoing war with the Faithless.

I get what you’re saying about the overall deal with the Allied Races, can’t argue about that, Horde won that one greatly, but seriously that bs with the Sethrak deserving to be a Alliance race is annoying af.

I really appreciate that Dark Irons are rarely included in these types of posts. Just goes to show how great we are!

Neither did Nightborne until Blizz shoved in some quest dialogue that made it make sense. It could easily make sense.

Tyrande was openly contemptuous about the Nightbourne the moment you stepped foot in Suramar. Never once did she relent on how lowly she thought of them. They were allies of necessity, nothing more

They merely act like it at every opportunity.

“You’re welcome, Alliance”

And don’t forget that poor guy who asked about the Alliance battlecry. They made fun of his question and then just laughed at him.

You NEVER see them make fun of horde players. Ever.

I love when they point to lore and say “See? It doesn’t make sense.” when Blizzard CONTROLS THE LORE.

If they really want something done? It gets done. At least, for horde.

They literally made fun of the Horde.

Stop with the over the top victimhood.

illidan is evil, a coward, a sargeras clone, and has a distinct lack of intelligence.

You mean you dont like having 5 different human races?
