Pronouns to be inclusive

basically a child youre saying with 0 self awareness.

yep i agree

None of that can be proven true in a lab. it’s not science, it’s just an assumption. a theory that can not be physically proven. Unlike there being only two genders, where science can prove it in a lab, with chromosomes.

See the thing is that there is a difference between respecting these issues, and then having to see this in World of Warcraft. It’s a game with elves and orcs where IRL doesn’t matter and we can just escape. I’m a big fat panda on the forums, not who I am IRL.

Science isn’t quite that black and white. There’s good and bad science in the world after all. As much as we’d like it to be otherwise, scientists are no less prone to shoddy workmanship as any other profession. Someone expressing skepticism at a scientific claim is actually a good thing as that’s the entire basis of science in the first place. If you ever reach the point where you are just accepting as gospel something someone in a white coat said then you’re doing science wrong. Ironically, you’re also treating science like a religion at that point and become vulnerable to the same traps people who are too deep into religious dogma fall into.

I also don’t really see that many vaccine nuts. I’m a conservative in a very conservative community and even we all think anti-vaxxers are crazy. We’re all a fan of our polio-free world.

Let’s have a brew sometime.

I mean, you’re not wrong, but at the same time… I don’t really see that much of an issue with it if people want it as an option to place on their character title. That being said… knowing the gaming world… people who use these pronouns would probably just be painting a target on their head.

Then again that isn’t inherently all bad, as you can quickly see who’s likely to align with how you view the world.

Translation:

“I can’t argue with them. I better attack the person instead of the argument!”

That’s all you have at this point I guess. Anger and pettiness. Well. I’ll challenge all of your points and the personal charges you levied with two simple words. “Prove it”. Because are you as intelligent as you claim to be, you would remember that burden of proof is on the accuser, not the defense.

You will note that I did not attack you one time. I did not label you specifically as a zealot. I instead went for a broader term, and at no point did I mention you by name. This was all intended. While I could have chosen to attack you personally, I instead opted to attack your arguments.

I said I rejected your stances. I reject your science as trash, because it never has been given a fair shake in the scientific process. I also reject your views, and your style of attacking individuals; rather than their arguments. However, I do not reject you as an individual. I merely believe you are wrong. Perhaps wrongfully informed, mistaken, or another word. Nothing more. That is not a crime, and I will not condemn you for that. Yet this… caused you to melt down. Curious.

For the record the quote is not “Ahh FAKE NEWS!”

The quote is actually… “Ahh! Real Monsters!” You are welcome friend.

When you return with tangible proof, and not proof that is approved by ideologically driven individuals, then I may consider your stances. But until we can question, (and thus have research, hypothesis and experiments occur prior to final observations and conclusions). I cannot find any reason to trust anything you said as fact.

The reason I cannot trust your word, is because when I do a basic ‘compare and contrast’ I note that must consider that there is not much a difference between the method used currently by “science”, and the Church in the middle-ages. Both believe their views are beyond reproach, and both were fond of punishing heresy that spoke against it.

“History is after all a loop.” I trust you recognize the quote and the irony in it.

Prove that what you say is truth. Not with ideology and ranting, but with fact. As long as you attack the individual (such as the erroneous and foolish anti-vax charge) and not the argument however, you already lost your credibility and the chance to prove your point. I would of thought this would be understood. Perhaps they no longer teach speech in school however.

So much white privilege/supremacy going on rn…disgusting.

I think that’s one of the greatest disappointments of the current technological landscape. We’ve become so good at identifying and separating ourselves from people on “the other side” that we forget how to interact with them.

??? now you’re 100% trolling

No no. Look at your character model. You’re literally white. Not Caucasian, white.

How can there be white privilege in a computer-generated model? Please provide proof of this claim as well when you do respond. I am eager to debate this and understand the logic you used to come to such a conclusion.

Even if we go out-of-game with it, there is zero evidence that the people disagreeing are caucasian, and even if they are, it’s actually racist to assert that the disagreement stems from their race.

Is this thing where you get to assume the race of everyone who disagrees with you similar to when you were complaining about people assuming gender?

I’m so glad I have resigned from humanity a while ago. I no longer consider myself a human being. It’s BS like this post that make me realize how doomed we are as a society.

Walking off this plantation was the best thing I ever did. BTW, I’m messaging you from Omicron Persei VIII. The reception can be a bit wonky from time to time, but Lrrr let’s me use his laptop to bash obtuse discussions like this.

That seems pretty logical, but I’d like to hear his explanation and how he came to such a conclusion. Call it the “Question” section of the scientific process. If they have an answer I can then go to researching it, and forming a hypothesis.

Again white privilege is a racist concept. You are generalizing a race. I would also like to point out every race has had its share of oppression so who is privileged or not isnt a road we should go down. An easy example is the Irish look up how they were historically treated and they are white. Or Americas Japanese interment camps.

And how do you know the race of any individual here. And even more importantly why does their race matter?

The act of treating people differently based on the immutable characteristic of race is racism and this is what you are doing. I instead judge you not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, which I find wanting.

I’m not human either, I’m an elven death knight irl actually, and I do not approve of OP’s message.
