Ok, returning player wanting to buy the new xpac and wondering how the professions work if I boost a brand new character to 120. I know previously you had to level someone to 60 and their professions I believe had to be 300 to be taken to new level. What is the status of this now? And when I boost do I have to have the professions already chosen prior?

Boosts no longer come with a profession boost, even if you level up to 60 first.
What they’ve done is change how professions work, so that each expansion is it’s own independent thing you level. (If you leveled cooking in Mists of Pandaria, it’s a bit like how that worked with the different Ways.) So, your boosted character can immediately start leveling Battle for Azeroth professions without having to first go through the older expansion crafting.
