I got banned for 10 days for participating in politics trade chat. I don’t think people liked the jokes, forget about after the social contract releasing…

Your advice might be good for anyone who wants to be a jerk. There isn’t any change of significance.
Where are people getting such odd ideas that there’s any difference with the new patch?
Did you guys just walk out of a flat earther meeting?

Because the jerks are gonna manipulate and falsely report ppl.

The vile groups of ppl mass reporting.

I see it now.

“Think of the children!” people always crack me up.

I guarantee that your kids are hearing far worse at school. From other kids.

Can’t heart this but I wish I could.

Seriously though, isn’t it too vague? I see it being a possible disaster.

report me for not being able to report me

People wilding about ‘we can’t talk anymore’ meanwhile there are quite old screenshots where people got actioned for using acronyms that included a ‘cuss word’. It’ll probably be like when ‘cross-server boosts’ and ‘boosting communities’ rules were changed, a couple weeks to a month of people reporting stuff a lot more and then pretty much back to normal afterwards. Blizzard basically tells the community to police itself and report stuff they don’t want to see in their community, high report things get actioned single reports essentially never do.

You’ve clearly never had angry boys on moon guard mass report you lmao

Ya this is one area that all media needs to chill out on. Now if you are cussing at someone in a manner that suggests hate speech then no. But yelling heck ya! in a variety of ways is harmless even if this game is rated 13 and up or whatever.

I even think calling people an idiot in a variety of ways should be doable.

Isn’t “heck ya” super offensive to some ppl? 🫠

I have, including forced name change which is essentially the only time you see forced name changes under the ‘non-rp’ char name rule that’s technically still around. It’s just a rarity, and essentially the sad state of rule enforcement that the only time stuff generally gets enforced is if you make ‘enough’ people angry enough to do it.

maybe furries. i see a lot of doggo memes that use Heck.

Maybe, still the worst that should happen with cuss words in that manner is to have the post deleted, not some stupid ban for talking like the vast majority.

“Angry”. Oh man, I probably can’t write what some got angry about.
