I dont know man…Id rather believe Ions posting on alts in here with some of these jokish white knight comments over having to accept that PAYING CUSTOMERS are this naive and accepting of garbage content

There are masochists in all walks of life. Some people love being lied to and treated like dirt.

I think my ex wife thought I was one of those sorts, lol.
Guess how that turned out?

I mean, why tell people that they can’t have an opinion. Or their view of fun is flawed or their dissatisfaction is their own fault? Or why tell people to just leave and not post if they don’t like the game?

So stupid lol. Ridiculous desperate attempt to keep the bad press to a minimum I guess. But it doesn’t even serve them, the game benefits from a broad robust player base and hiding problems doesn’t solve them.

They can say it, but Ive covered this one about 1000 times in here all over the forum.
I hate BFA. Im starting to dislike SLs. Remove Revendreth and I wouldnt even play it.
If its me, they need to explain why I spend hours a day playing the game where its actually fun.
If it were a me thing, Id be done with the WHOLE game, not just current content that I dont like.

Ions alts, no doubt, lol.
“dont like my game? Stuff it. Its MY game now”
We’ll have to see how that works out for them.
I know Gander Mountain went bankrupt making stupid business decisions.
WoD lost a huge number of subs in very short order.
The only reason this game survives, IMO, is the same reason Joan Fabric does even making the same bad decisions Gander Mountain did. The customer base is willing to put up with a LOT of crap hoping things get better. Again, we’ll see how that pans out for them in the long haul.

LMAO…imagine a company with players practically begging to keep handing over money to play…with the ONLY caveat being that the company needs to produce some quality content for the money.
Id think a lot of defunct businesses would kill to have access to easy revenue that blizzard/activision has from its dedicated player base.

I was joking about Stockholm Syndrome a bit ago today. Now Im starting to wonder. lol

:+1:

My guess is too many bean counters and ex lawyers at the helm calling the shots.
The game really needs people who LOVE working on it for the GAMES sake if its going to get better than the mind numbing number crunching crap you need a bachelors degree to keep track of, lol.

Blizz actually tells people to come to the forums to say why they are quitting (from what I have been told) and any of the I am quitting posts that go to the proper forum (Customer Service) get moved over to GD. Most likely so they can ignore the issues players are having.

It’s their money and their right to say what ever they want no matter what anyone else thinks. Blizz tells people when they are un subbing to come here to say why they are quitting. So if you don’t like it complain to BLizz about them sending players to GD to say why they are quitting.

I prefer to call it Mjolinerf

How are you posting on the forums with an expired sub?

Has this ever worked? Serious question.

All valid points. Blizzard should be giving people reasons to play, but they do the opposite. Plenty of fish in the sea, as in other stuff to do instead of play the game. They don’t realise that.

I have gotten some gold from asking on the forums. If they are actually quitting for good they won’t ever need the gold. I don’t believe most people quit or quit for good.

This is a big one and it’s where I’ve been before. And I think it’s a lot more common than people think. A lot of the complaining around here is just complaining. But a lot of it comes from people who see a game that they once loved and want to love again. And they feel that Blizzard is fighting them on it.

Apparently you dont need an active sub to post here anymore.

Here’s a picture of my launcher to prove it.

Posted this in another thread but ima post it here cus its hard truth.

"It’s SL, this xpacs good for the most part. But man wow desperately needs something like FFXIV’s golden saucer. A place to go that transcends each xpac and only has things fun to do with 0 player power/progression. You know something they can build on each xpac AND NOT throw away every new xpac like they do with borrowed power.

Like just copy chocobo racing from ff and let ppl race with their mounts. Add hearthstone to wow so we have a fun mini game. Maybe the dark moon Faire could also do a lottery like ffxiv? Literally anything that’s sole purpose is for enjoyment which again has no player power incentives.

Another reason why I LOVE FFXIV’s house system is it adds enjoyable things.to do, AND it offers decorations from boss kills, something that EVERY EXPANSION they release adds onto… instead we get trash wq and trash content like torghast.

Hell even torghast is vastly inferior to FFXIV’S tower, BY FAAAAAR!"

Wow just really doesn’t have anything to do thats sole purpose is for enjoyment. It’s really sad, wish I could mix wow and ffxiv. That hybrid would be perfect!!

You still do, apparently there’s a bug though that lets many folks keep posting without a sub. Every time mine runs out and I try to post the first time, it deletes my comment immediately and tells me I need a paid sub to post here and won’t let me try again after that.

Oh nice so i can post after March 10th!

I would not even put WoW in the top 5 mmorpgs atm unless you specifically like raiding or M+. Its mediocre at best.

Blizzard have never cared the original designers of this game did. Once Blizzard took over it was only a money spinner for them and every Xpac is less and less content ( with very little effort on their part ) and to top it off upped the cost of subs pathetic if you ask me.
