We absolutely cannot, you mangy Alliance. Fur da herd!
Fair point. Not like every player is gonna be an old dusty b*#$@ like me. Player bases change.
I wouldnt say RDF is what was the begining of the end. It was the cross server play that took us further and further from the social aspect that made wow so good. Making it cross server was a way to keep them from consolidating servers. Which clearly is something they are more willing to do now. Same server RDF would have 100% been the way to go. Dungeons are super fun but finding dungeon groups is really hard for alot of people. How many wont ever really enjoy them without RDF. I get there are some pros to not having it but it just doesnt out way the negative, imo.
You’re acting like the orcs don’t call you knife ear behind your back too. We can stand in solidarity for being elves at least.
The panda gets it
Ugh… fine… Al diel shala (I looked it up)
This would be no different for us on mega servers and I would be ok with it.
Blaming one system and ignoring other factors is naive.
Just stop with the WOW DIED BECAUSE RDF nonsense.
Thank you
I was there when this happened and genuinely saddened because I had a tauren female warrior rival that I saw all the time in open world and in battlegrounds. After that split we lost a little special interaction that made the game that much cooler.
But overall? It clearly didn’t kill my interest in the game.
This has been your TED Talk
you know what the hardcore community and people like yourself seems to miss? If you kill the game for casuals you’ll eventually kill the game. You and your hardcore buddies will defeat every boss and have allllll the gear so you raid log and “nub mc 9-5” is still lv40 and has to play solo because you sure arent going to run dungeons with him. its an xp loss for him and you arent being paid for your time nor are you even aware cause you raid log. why should you care? well he quits and that’s one less you’ll see at max. well eventually it’s just you and the hardcore community raid logging, the game dies. the end. lets not have that happen, k?
This game is going to die regardless. How many people are even playing Classic?
You don’t just sit in town doing nothing when you queue into RDF.
You either do things like crafting or the AH, or you are outside in the world gathering or questing.
With the current LFG tool you would be more likely to just be sitting in town or parked somewhere doing nothing but looking at LFG channel due to how clunky the LFG tool currently is.
Elune adoreh or something. I speak human.
Youre not talking to the right person lmao. Stop embarrassing yourself.
- RDF didn’t ruin the game.
- I’m not a retail player.
220k ish according to “my sources”
According to that Tauren whose name I forgot… we’re all retail players.
Show me the numbers of how it declined when RDF was introduced.
Surprise, you can’t because it didn’t happen.
Plenty of people have posted the data that totally refutes this false idea of yours.
fair. I have yet to see anyone bring this up. You arent JUST sitting in town. There are chores to be done. Nodes to be mined. Herbs to be picked. Things to be bought.
But that’s all stuff you do mostly alone. I personally like bringing people along though to do things like farming while looking for a group. Makes it less boring.
