Prepatch is always a mess with balance, I wouldn’t take anything you’re experiencing right now as set in stone. Just vibe for now.
With the battleground enemies addon being gone and battleground enemies fixed addon not functioning nearly as well I’d bet that there is a lot less focus fire in bgs which healers are balanced around.
A good team will have
/Assist shotcaller
Macros and use them to burst people down.
Gotta lift more

Depends on the skill level of the players involved. I was in a BG the other day on my priest where we were against a bunch of low gear/skill players. I was able to spin like 5 players on my own no problem. The next game we were against a premade with high rated players and I was nuked down by 2 players with no problem.
So yea if you and/or your team are undergeared and don’t know how to burst / cc properly you’ll never kill one, if a couple players with PvP gear and an understanding of their class can take one down fairly easily.
You’ll notice this especially if you do blitz and get to higher brackets. The skill gap is wildly different.
