I’ve only got about 2100 hours on retail priest. So my opinions may be drastically different with more experience. This is just how i see it currently.
General:
-Make Angelic Feather strong and fun to press like it was in MoP. Fast recharge and 70% boost.
-Animation updates. Most of them are either outdated or just suck.
-Better defensives and utility. Fade sucks even with all the talents selected. Desperate prayer is just not fun or strong. Leap of faith is fun situationally, but its mostly used to grip an afk into a soak mechanic or in HIGH IQ pvp.
Shadow:
-Vamp embrace should be baseline and heal for 100% of the damage done. I want this to feel like a strong and unique cooldown that feels fun to press. It also adds the the class fantasy of being a hybrid damage/healer role that shadow has been lacking. I’m totally okay with not being the #1 parsing dps if the healing utility was better as a trade off.
-Shadowy asp’s should be strong without 8 different talents. such as waste of talent nodes that could be used for more flavorful and interesting gameplay altering talents.
-Make dots strong. managing dots for mediocre damage is not fun.
-Give us our stun back for pvp. dont be cray cray
Disc:
-Atonement should be #1 on the healing breakdown. This spec is so fun when atonment cranks and you can visually see the meaningful healing each smite cast is causing.
-Penance is a very fun spell. Limit the cast to 3-4 orbs and make them slam hard. Its way more satifying than 100 cotton balls.
Holy:
-Mulligan. This spec was struggling in design before the big midnight prune. Now it feels like TBC holy priest but somehow more lame.
-make healing well a baseline ability radiates strong aoe on 30 sec CD. This could be such a cool ability and flavor for holy.
-This spec has the coolest healing class fantasy in my opinion, but is somehow lacking heavily in class design and fun buttons.
