If you think 20% nerf made priests go from OP to useless shows how bad you really are. They need even more nerfs I’m hoping 20% is just the start.

Like is it literally too much to ask to not be the WORST dps by a mile? Its not worse dps by like 10 percent it’s worse dps by a country mile.
I don’t understand the QQ. It’s no biggie. Pom regularly overheals in the 20% range. COH–much more than that. Biggest hit is penance–which–if we were being honest, was OP

Did BFD last night after the changes and honestly while I do see the difference in Penance it still does a perfectly fine enough job.

Penance feels significantly weaker, and flash healing is extremely mana inefficient. With penance nerfed, the first heal from it isn’t big enough to give the second heal time to get to the target during big burst damage. That’s even with 100+ healing, not sure what it would be like on a less geared priest.
It’s hard not to be concerned as a priest player when you provide the lowest damage as a healer, your dps spec is bottom of the barrel, and the only reliable tools you have to avoid mana inefficient plays have been hurt for PVP purposes.
Honestly I almost never use Flash Heal.
I try to predict incoming damage and precast Heal.
This. I throw on a renew and don’t really notice a difference. Penance still heals plenty of damage during burst phases, and tops the tank off during trash pulls. PoM feels about the same, though I also lesser heal bounce that so it’s probably not as noticeable when everything is added up.
Priest healing is still very strong considering how little mana Penance/PoM cost.

And yes shadow player is awful because all their talents aren’t available yet. Absolutely nothing can be done right now. Same thing with ele shaman. Complete dumpster fire until 40

i have about 130g i just dont want to spend that much on a trash rune, mid at best when we all know that blizzard will nerf the run cost in phase 2 in under a month

If its still 30g at 40 then I will buy it if it is not mid anymore due to scaling changes and more spell power, higher mana pools etc.
I think there’s a greater > 50 % chance of them nerfing the ratchet rune prices and am willing to take a bet on that in exchange for not having a rune that i dont even want or care about for less than a month longer.
