Pride month 2023? Any plans to add in-game event?

:notes: tale as old as tiiiiiime :notes:

We know you are, you know you are, the old lady four doors down knows you are. The only ones who don’t know it are apparently Blizzard moderators, which is really quite the comment on their competence.

Don’t forget the bigots who keep telling on themselves~

The two of you need to get a room liking every single post each other makes.

Not sure why you are calling out your other little buddy though.

Hey I may be a vulpera but I’m not little.

Oh I misread… oops

Hm

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Even if they banned him, he make another account and continue to spam it.

How much do you think blizzard moderators make? I’m about to apply, easiest job in the world.

There are mods here? The T army has proved that if you want to troll or attack people on here you just have to do it in a manner that reflects the thinking of the blue hairs on social media.

Lore wise, sure. There is the Running of the Gnomes which is like a mini-event that was made official, so it sort of depends. There’s at least precedent for things being added because of IRL stuff, and they’ve added plenty of NPCs referencing IRL people that have passed or make-a-wish type situations.

It’s just weird how others having an event somehow ‘takes away’ from others when there’s PLENTY of non LGBTQIA+ related events, marches, etc throughout the year. The fact that they think it’s some sort of game where if LGBTQIA+ get something ‘new’ they also need something ‘new’ to compensate or to run directly against it.

Yet there’s so many people here spouting that, coincidentally none of them are made to no longer be able to post.

Your posts say otherwise.

Ongoing, and it’s listed in the rules. For some reason it doesn’t apply to the forums because there’s no way to even report it since blizzard only looks at ‘one post at a time’ anyways.

What is it going to take to get some real moderation around here? These threads are an embarrassment.

Meanwhile, I post a funny gif and it gets removed right away for being off topic. Or even “trolling” when it is on-topic and definitely not trolling.

I hope you guys are proud of yourselves. (speaking of “pride”)

We all know why LGBTQ+ people get celebratory events and straight people don’t. Even they know it. They’re just arguing in bad faith because they want to keep stirring the pot OP has set forth by making this thread.

Make no mistake. The OP is the one doing the stirring, and they know it.

It’s a video game. Go away troll, you aren’t even trying anymore.

OP tried this last year, a lot of people told him to just make his own in-game event, and if it gets big enough, Blizz might add it, like the running of the gnomes thing. Sadly that is not good enough for the OP, he wants the event shoved in our faces.

I’m not denying this, but anyone who comes in here and makes ridiculous claims like “Why can’t straight people get pride events, too?” are perpetuating it, especially when it’s pretty clear why straight people don’t get events celebrating their sexuality compared to LGBTQ+ people.

OP might be a troll, but them trolling shouldn’t give everyone else a pass to make ignorant remarks about things that are common sense.

Pride week could be cool.

What quests, toys, achievements would be added to that holiday week?

Would a rainbow tabard/cloak be added?

That’d be neat.

Well I certainly have never said that nor believe it but if one group gets something everyone gets it :person_shrugging:

Because they asked.

Because they haven’t asked.

I genuinely have no idea what you mean by this. Nobody asked for anything.

The LGBT community asked for events and so they have events.

Just like all other special activities, someone asked for it/did the work to make it happen :person_shrugging:
