Prices this month are high cause Fomo

You trust what Blizzards says these days?

Rng is rng. I actually got the HFC (wod) mount 1 week in. And I wasn’t even there for it. That was pre SL changes so I was gold farming the place really. It was maybe on 4th chars run, it came quick. I was predicting months of rng hell.

Now Arthas…yeah, that dude has tormented for me for a good long while. Why I was angry about the blue fart ending kind of.

Hell no, make him get a body again. so I can slap the crap out of him. It would end when I got the horse.

None of the stuff in the Trading Post or anywhere else is that important.

You’re not missing out on anything except real life if you play too much.

There is literally an ach that takes a year

and they’ll be screaming about everything being repeats, and demanding new stuff.

what’s your source on these items being only available during October… forever?

the trading post one takes a year too

the only people who don’t trust blizzard, are the ones who take a statement and twist it into a pretzel of their choice.

If people are suffering anxiety from a few cosmetic appearances I’d be concerned for them, and not for the game.

If Blizzard cancelled the Trading Post tomorrow and we never saw any of those past items again, I would not suffer a moment of stress, and since I suffer from Anxiety and have always been a real collector in WoW, I think I’m a fairly reasonable judge of that.

So like all the holiday things that come around once a year. So they’ll be back next year.

The hoops people jump through to defend a system clearly designed to be this way

It doesn’t have to be this way but it’s designed this way for an obvious reason

or maybe they enjoy it.

Last month prices were higher, wtf you talking about? lol the pet was 150 as well as the mount was 100 more

I still only ever see meta in the aromatic substitution or Douglas Hofstadter sense.

A lot of people are on the fence about playing. Is it your goal to push them out of the game entirely because they can just not sub, which is the logical conclusion to your suggestion that people can and should stop caring about the game and stop paying.

Blizzard is a corporation. They do things to make money. Whether they are despicable or not is subjective.

However, the people who say “this stuff isn’t important, just forget about it” have (hopefully) never actually encountered someone with an actual mental health issue. The rational brain does not have quite as much sway in these cases, and these people cannot simply let things go, at times.

So bizarre watching players argue about FOMO (an extremely broad term) instead of the design issue

The complaint is the manipulative design regardless of your inability to break away from a worthless semantics argument

Players defending being manipulated are sheep defending being shorn

I wish you lobbied this hard about the mcrib

If anything the TP this month is the opposite of FOMO, they knew people would really want the broom and made maxing out the points really easy. You can get halfway there just doing Brewfest stuff once, and then the rest is gravy. I maxed out in an hour of just flying around, and a lot of the items this month are repeats, allowing people to bank their Trader’s Tender.

I think next month, since it’s Blizzcon, will give a higher Tender max again like it did with the Netherdrake month, and have a ton more stuff related to the Xpac announcement.

There have been items on the trading post for the past two months that I had already purchased. They’re already rotating items through again. I trust my own eyes.

I know where you’re going with that analogy, but – have you ever seen one those lost sheep that has like 5 years of wool growth? They can hardly move!

Maybe “cows defending the abattoir” might be a little more on the nose =) Though… I guess a bit of a hyperbole lol

You remind me of people wearing heavy coats in the summer time and complaining about the heat. Nobody is forcing you to do that.
