I think every dps gets turned down a lot. Some groups might already have your class, or maybe they need an ability you don’t have. Maybe they already have one or two ranged and want a melee. Don’t take it personally.

Just start a group. Did a few yesterday with 4 guildies and 1 pug. Within a minute we had literally over 100 applicants. Gotta keep in mind it’s beginning of a new season so, even more people LFG than usual.
Smart groups look at previous season IO with raider IO but Blizzards UI doesn’t show it. Most likely your actual problem is being another DPS in a sea of DPS and they aren’t declining you they are just taking someone who fits their group better. Or is higher ilvl. Or just has a funnier name.
3K IO at the end of the push season was not as good as many 3k IO players think it was.

Yeah…. I think I finished at like 2950 and I stopped playing week 7 of the tier.
I would ask instead “how did you get 3k io without running either Taz dungeon…ever”.
But then again, this is a troll and they lie so. I mean he’s quit the game because no one invites hunters to anything ever how many times again?

Gnome getting into whatever group I make
Also failing level 8s because I keep going inviting gnomes over people who know the dungeon, and I don’t know the dungeon, so nobody knows the dungeon.

Yeah I get the same thing Im 2500 and get turned out for 10’s rofl. Blizzard fostered an elitist community by these FOTM and timers. I’ve had it with the game for quite a long time. The dragon expac is the wall for me because it’s not worth paying 50 dollars plus a sub fee to be rejected all day or forced to joined a guild with the rude people elitist gogogo crowd.

shouldnt be an issue with BM hunters. i discovered something back in korthia days that is a game changer: the ferocity pets not only keep you alive better than tenacity/cunning due to the leech… they do more dps and they stay alive themselves better than the tank pets. a ferocity with growl off is amazing. you will need very little heals if you stay out of muck… just sayin’. p.s. when you go back out into ZM dont forget to turn the growl back on!

Here’s how I get around this nonsense.
I don’t really PUG.
On a rare occasion I might PUG but I find the entire experience to be substandard compared to running instanced content with friends and guildies, even when we aren’t successful.
You are way better off making your own key right now than trying to get into one.
I’ve declined people in the past simply because I recognized their names as forum trolls.
got one of them to whisper me asking why once. I super enjoyed telling them why lol
