Pretzels are better than cookies

Cashews and Pistachio or go home.

Ummm I am home /cry. Seriously, the peanuts are the lower carbs of the ones I like.

Cookies can be triple chocolate which leaves pretzels in the dust.

As to whether cookies or pretzels are better, that is entirely a matter of personal choice (unless it’s those weird vile little peanut butter ones, blech).

(puts out a lovely tray of assorted cookies for all to enjoy!)

OP you are so wrong I feel slightly insulted. Your ignorance is blinding.

Nothing will beat a properly made cookie. Nothing!

Oh no you don’t. Not this time. If you’re not handing out pretzels we don’t want them.

S’mores are indeed good. We learned to make them my first year in Brownies. One important thing to remember is that they aren’t authentic s’mores unless the marshmallows have actually been on fire at some point.

I do enjoy pretzels in cheese dip …

Thing is, you really can’t prove anyone wrong on this topic. I generally prefer salty snacks. Other people prefer sweet snacks. And it’s not even consistent from day to day. Some days I really want chocolate.

De gustibus non disputandem.

Those Jalapeno Pretzels with the hot cheese dip all day, every day. Mmmm Mmmm.

Pretzels are amazing, this is true.

I like to dip the crunchy pretzel sticks in mustard.

Soft pretzels are amazing. So are soft cookies. I can’t eat crunchy things very much anymore cause my teeth/gums are garbage :frowning:

I go the other way 'round, regular pretzels in jalapeño cheese dip. I imagine that’s probably one of those “six of one, a half-dozen of the other” sort of things.

Pretzels are better, if they are frosted as another said. I like the sweet and salty taste, also things that are “too sweet” make me sick.

I like my Girl Scout Thin Mints but sometimes they can be too sweet. So I’ll put a dab of peanut butter on them. The nice mixture of mint, sweet chocolate and the slightly salty of peanut butter. Serious nommage.

As to pretzels … only way I really like them is soft. Cheese spread is the best way to have them, though I will admit soft pretzels with a sweet glaze can be nice.

Cookies, I prefer them soft as well, but then again, I’m not as young as I used to be and my teeth can’t handle the hard stuff like they used to.

I can’t say one or the other is better, it depends on your mood. If you want slightly salty or an excuse to enjoy some good cheese, pretzels are the way to go. If you want something sweet, cookies are the way to go.

I’ll admit I’d try those. But I still prefer soft pretzels. My teeth aren’t what they used to be. I’m not a spring chicken anymore!

I’m disgusted yet intrigued.
