Blizzard went through MANY attempts to create a successful tool for players to get into dungeons effectively. They all failed until RDF.
Cherry pick however you like. If it fits your agenda, copy pasta. There’s plenty of Dev interviews praising RDF.

This point is hilarious, the summoning stones still exist, and all DPS classes are viable.
RDF wasn’t added at the start and I was able to fully gear two characters basically through pugs before joining a guild.
This includes raids.
and most people’s experience was “frozen orb reserved” “nether reserved” “dark runes reserved”
You played on a low pop server or something but reserving items in dungeons and tank services were very very much a thing.
This isn’t cata from 12 years ago. This is wrath after 14 years of private server and retail meta.
This is an illusion players tell themselves while they wait to find a group.

I think that is also too far, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone said “I’ve slow mount, please summon me” would be instantly removed from the group from other people.
And regardless of the classes being viable, people will have their picks for heroics and some classes will have hard time.
There was no such thing as reserve. That only shows us that you’re a “classic” baby.

I don’t pug really anymore but when I do I’ve never refused a player because of their mount, it has no indication of their skill, perhaps they don’t have the time to farm 6k or they don’t care
Even with RDF the players can just vote kick the classes they don’t like, or join as a three stack and bully the other two players
The only difference is, it makes the party for you, if you’re a bad players you’ll get kicked regardless

This is Facts.
It does say “most complete” … in fact it is still most complete minus rdf. RDF existing for 1-70/80 dungeons is truly where its needed. Heroics are just fine out of it … albeit adding them between togc and icc makes sense as a catchup mechanic after dungeons with the rewards … also think if cataclassic is a thing keeping this same philosophy of implementation is the way to go in the long term.
