Premades using something to kick players offline

And you are very compliant and subservient to group think.

In life, I would never trust you to have my back.

Yeah I guess if someone drives a motorcycle through a garden wedding, it’s just “groupthink“ when everyone thinks he’s a jerk.

Passing lead to all is something 99% of av’s have done since day 1. It’s to help the team win. If you want to use it as an opportunity to pontificate about premades or hold the team back out of spite, then sorry, people aren’t going to want to play with you. And surprise…they don’t have to play with you.

But are they better than someone who fishes in AV?

I never said it was required, I said it was best practice.

Refusing to offer assist to others is actively harming your own team’s coordination potential.

Plus, we are in vanilla WoW, there are a myriad number of things that should have been, but weren’t at the time.

Hell, this version is still holding bugs that were classified as bugs at the time, but the devs didn’t get around to fixing until TBC.

The OP was being equally childish as the premade group for the mass report. (Or they at least have an aversion to winning for some reason)

Let me stop you right there.

Junior CM’s hard at work.

Everyone in this story sucks.

Pretty sure this is what this whole thing is about.

This and the other few threads posted. Too coincidental.

I give assist to all whether it’s a premade or a pug. Tanks need to mark themselves.

Obviously you hate premades and obviously you hate winning. Not giving assist is just stupid.

You deserved that for being a jackass

What was your reasoning of not passing assist to all? On face value it makes you come off as a toxic player that people wouldn’t want to play with.

This is just another example of how toxic the premades are. They will mass-report you AFK for any of the following.
1.60% mount
2. Not in there premade
3.talking in BG chat
4. Not doing exactly as they say

A premade joined my pug the other day and they spent 15 minutes trying to jump a fence by the horde base. They skipped all LTS, towers, and graveyards. Then they wiped surprise surprise and spawned all the way back at the alliance starting cave with the rest of us and spent the rest of the match blaming pugs and reporting people afk.

Why should he have to? Not complying with a request- nay, demand- is not grounds for account action. But if enough players abuse the right click report function, hey, they get what they want: a soft disconnect while the automated silence is applied. Talk about obnoxious? That’s rich!

Claiming premades are “hacking” you is irrational and paranoid. Record video footage the next time this happens, or your outlandish claims are 100% bogus.

Refusing to give raid assist is also baffling behaviour. Such unprovoked hostility is hard for anyone to have a high opinion or sympathize with your situation.

I would say to put in a ticket about the behavior. Then it is up to blizzard to decide. If they did abuse something then blizzard should action them.

At the same time, just because it’s a premade doesn’t justify your actions. Like others have pointed out, passing assist should happen whether it’s a pug or premade. It allows for better communication and coordination.

Again, report it and let blizzard handle/ decide.

Some of these replies are a joke, wtf.

Whether the OP should or shouldn’t have given out assist is completely irrelevant. If they were force-disconnected by something other players did, those players need to have action taken against them. It’s not ok, on any level.

Then a ticket should have been more than enough. This post isn’t even in the realm of ‘fyi guys’.

It’s all about their dislike of premades and every reply and copy threads posted right after it wreak of it.

The normal ‘I hate premades’ was working just fine.

Us arguing over it doesn’t do anything about it. It’s up to the person that was dc’d to report it. Blizzard can look at what occurred and deal with it. If the premade abused the report function then blizzard can and should action them. If the premade is given a suspension or something that hinders their honor grind I’m sure it will stop pretty quickly.

Your best course of action is to go to blizzard directly. Not hope they read a forum post, Imo.

And I guess we’re now in a situation where people queueing up legitimately must comply with any whim or demand put on them or have their accounts sanctioned. And hope they are even aware that there are options to appeal.
