the only time blizzard changes or adresses anything is when it might effect thier pockets.
thats up to blizzard to decide how many people are at risk to unsub from the results of this exploit, vrs how many risk to unsub if the exploit is fixed.
knowing that vast majority of players on both side are casuals, my guess is the first of those would be true and more beneficial to blizzards bottom line but thats up for them to decide.
There… really isn’t more to it. Using voice-comms was how we did it back in the day, and there was even an AV-queue addon for the short duration it was needed in Vanilla that had everyone “click” at the same time, a valid option since it was just a UI command.
Get enough people into a fresh AV and you can clear space and inform stragglers of the proper number, voila. The Devs have already commented on the use of the BG Report feature to drop people for any reason (or no reason at all), so that’s unlikely to change.
it dc’s you, squelches you, and puts a mark on your account that you have to appeal. that was the whole reasoni made the thread because i suspected a DC i got was the result of a premade reporting me to get me out.
theres other posts on the forums about it, its def a thing. so not only are you dced, but your account then has marks on it for wahtever they reported you for (lanquage, spam, cheating) if you dont appeal.
What you label as “whining” is really just a call for them to do something about the exploiting of being able to completely bypass AV mechanics.
I dont know if you are aware of the fact that Horde wins most of our matches. The only ones winning on Alli are the premades. The average horde player has a far better win rate than the average alli player, and that’s because most of the matches dont fill up until late because of the premade dodges. Like I explained in a different post, you aren’t hurting the horde, you are hurting your own faction.
Well, you initially thought hacking was involved, which evidently not the case.
But as far as mass reporting some sort of abuse in which Blizz dc’s you automatically, that’s new to me. What exactly did they report you for? Cheating or abuse in some way? Some further detail could help lend further credit to your claim.
I can’t speak for that particular premade, but I can tell you that the public premade I’ve been in do not use the report feature in such a way.
