war chief made weiz and community flare and the secret community flare details but that got in to the wrong hands so now big blizzard is takign it out on everybody
100% some real weird rp stuff goes on in the hidden discord channel
Are you ok?
For real? What’s the name of the channel? I can’t imagine making a video about farming pugs and thinking it has any value.
Just search mesostealthy on YouTube lol. He got like thousands of videos with little to no views
good example of cringe player
I really hope someone at Blizzard is reading the PvP forums here and passing along the good feedback. Just knowing that someone is caring would be nice.
I do think they do though, after all we did get Blitz which was an improvement. They’ve done PvP centric things like Plunderstorm. And they do frequent PvP balancing.
It’s obvious there is someone who cares about PvP on the development team, but they seem to have abandoned regular battlegrounds.
Holy. I only watched a few minutes and am left feeling depressed. Dude starts complaining about someone not fighting fairly. How are these real people? I’m just blown away how far I am, if not most people are, from these players. The dude is boasting about kill in a bg. My brain can’t comprehend.
And of course he’s playing blood.
Now yelling 1v1 bro.
Yea, not sure. The topic has been brought up for years and nothing has been said in ages. I have to imagine they know and for whatever reason they simply choose to do nothing. Maybe they think it will alienate paying customers. I mean, they HAVE to see the huge drop off in players in epics.
I used to like watching his Shadowlands game posts because I’m in a lot of them.
If they are worried, that’s what brawls are for. They can make the changes and add it as a new season long brawl like they did with Blitz to test how it works and if people like it.
Do that for the last season of War Within and then make it the real mode in Midnight.
For sure. I think there are tons of potential solutions to keep these players engaged. One being, just let them play against each other. As in, prioritize placing these groups against each other AND punish players for leaving. While I would love for them to limit the amount of groups that can join a single bg on either side, I think they have options and they just seem to be unwilling to try.
It makes no sense to me. That content as old as the game is still active and they AREN’T trying to make it better is just baffling. AV could use a face lift. Epics in general just need a little bit of love and tons of players would be playing them again. It’s so confusing.
I remember reading a blue post a long time ago talking about how it’s hard for them to update AV because the code is so old and can easily break. Probably why we still have all the old mechanics, they just aren’t actually viable to use in a match anymore.
At this point I wish they’d just rebuild AV from scratch and make some of these mechanics actually part of the match. I miss summoning Lokholar and cavalry and all that.
Also it’s kind of sad that an almost 20 year old epic battleground is still the most balanced of them.
Premades of 5 or 4 are not good for random bgs. The whole reason why people queue’d epic bgs was to get away from the random bg premades. 5 mans are the reason we have timers in bgs, and why blizzard implemented the GY changes.
A 5 man premade In WSG is equal to a 20 man sync queue in a AV, it’s why these groups can have a 90% winrate. Just because it’s been in the game for a long time doesn’t mean it is good for the game.
Would be mostly fine as long as they are matched against another 5 player group.
You would have to have a cap on premades in a bg, and you would need to implement a hidden MMR for unrated play. Both of those things would increase the queue times.
At this point it would be better to just reduce it to only 3 man premades for random bgs and 5 mans in epics
I don’t think that would be needed. The goal isn’t a perfect system, but just “better” than what we have now.
If you don’t include the MMR, games will just be decided by the better 5 man. Why should a 5 man group have the much influence over a match?
Far easier solution to just reduce the premade size on either side.
Yea, I could see that. That said, as you said, they could just design it from scratch. Given we get a new/dead zone almost every season now, would be nice if they put that time into old content.
I get what you’re saying, but it’s substantially easier to get together a small group of people than it is to coordinate 20-40+ people to stack a bg. Any player could just hit up chat and find a few players to play with.
I think if they just limited bg’s to how many 5 man groups can join either side would pretty much fix the problem. There should never be an instance where more than 4 5-man groups are joining a single side.
Just referring to how much influence a 5 man actually has over a match. Without the MMR influence we would essentially have a early HOTS situation, where 5 mans were placed against other 5 mans but the skill difference was so great that the match was decided 4 minutes in the game.
My worry is that simply matching 5 mans with others will still subject pugs to the whim of 5 players.
So since these these pvp changes, we have been getting them frequently.
That leader afks out once he sees our roster and just leaves his whole premade team in there to fight us.
I feel sorry for them ngl. Imagine ur leader ditching u
