Premade premade premade

I believe their point is that “random” is far less “random” than it should be.

It’s not a valid point.

Random means there aren’t any rules or balanced teams.

If you want even teams you have blitz and RBGs as options.

There most certainly are rules, but far less tight than rated, sure. I personally only do Blitz or RBGs, but I know precisely what the OP is talking about. Under the current system, if you’re not doing rated (which you usually don’t want to do unless you’re at least Honor-geared, IIRC), then you’re either in a premade or you’re Honor food.

Which is terrible by design.

Except for the rules that limit your group size when queueing, which people are using exploits to bypass the restriction and place their full organized group together.

Not about balancing teams which is what op is complaining about.

Nothing is stopping you from joining a premade.

Considering blizzard has stated it’s not breaking the rules or exploiting to Que sync

Discord and guilds, they just make a group and que at the exact same time so that it places them in the same BG.

But that’s not the point on their post. Their point is that premades are trashing the system. You’re telling them to roll around in the trash. That’s not productive whatsoever.

I haven’t tried to join a guild with my main in probably a decade at this point, it’s all foreign to me now.

Well, it doesn’t.

People were just afk/declining the queue when it did pop for them.

Wait, are you saying that people are playing together in an MMORPG?

Thats why I only do Comp Stomp anymore…when its out. I stopped PVP’ing 3-4 years ago when I realized every BG group I encountered was a premade.

Correct. I didn’t say it was. The point of their post was complaining because pvp happened.

It’s not a valid point.

Premading is not against the rules
Que syncing is not against the rules.

Blizzard has stated this. If people can’t handle premades then they probably shouldn’t PvP.

So again.

No premades in blitz!

Over the years, I’ve seen how PvP-related threads always get derailed in this exact same way of the years. You’ll deflect the problem because you can posit indulging in the problem as a solution. That’s silly. At best, it’s a short-term solution; at worst, the problem compounds and it becomes a point of “you’re either a part of the problem (premades) or you are a victim of it (everyone else)”… which I believe is a threshold that’s already been crossed. From what I’ve seen, the majority of people solo queueing into BGs nowadays are going to be thrown into a BG against a premade—which means they have no chance of winning whatsoever.

You knew that, but I suppose I’m saying that less to you and more to the people that’ll be munching on the sound bytes you’re aiming for there.

No one claimed it was.

That’s… debatable, but probably not.

You know what else isn’t against the rules? Advocating for better systems.

Sometimes it’s premades, but many times people blame premades to excuse bad play.

Unfortunately, queue syncing and even win trading happens in Blitz.

I understand people want to play with their friends in random, so I don’t think Blizzard will do anything about grouping up to 5 players, and honestly I don’t see a big deal about that number. But queue syncing on discord with full premades is bad for the game’s health and the integrity of rated pvp as many new players ease into pvp with random battlegrounds.

An easy fix would be to have a limit how many times one can decline or miss a queue before being locked out of joining a pvp game.

I feel like full premades hurts pvp more than helps, and if someone truly enjoys pvp and cares about the long term health of the game and participation level they would agree something should be done about it; Premades/queue exploits in rated Blitz is unacceptable, full stop.

Nah I’ll just state the facts that the complaint is invalid because Blizzard has already stated it’s not breaking the rules.

Nothing else matters.

It’s not debatable. There’s literally a blue post that flat out states Que syncing is not against the rules.

The only way it’s actioned is if they are using third party software.

^ This.

I can’t tell you how many times I have been in a losing bg over the years and people blame the loss on premades.

Ok?

It doesn’t matter what anyone’s opinion is.

It’s not breaking the rules per Blizzard.

No.

Feelings are irrelevant.

That does not make it “good”. The pvp matchmaking in this game for “random” bg’s is horrible. I don’t know what the fix is, but just about anything reasonable will be better than what we have now.

I don’t even Q for pvp anymore because of how nausiating it is going up against premade after premade. And sometimes, I just want to Q up for fun, and not have to worry about running with a full stack of organized players.

It is what it is though, I don’t expect them to change much if anything at all. They don’t even care about the clear exploits going on in ranked, why would they care about random bgs…
