Uh. You do realize Blizzcon isn’t just a big Q&A, right? That’s not the purpose. Of course their regular presentations are scripted. Why would they not be?

I fully agree that Overwatch spinoff wont be called Overwatch 2. It will HOPEFULLY be a story based game with tons of cut scenes and alot of work done to flesh out the world. However if the new game looks like its just events put into a new game Im out. I need something more then just the standard events and all.

Heh. I expect no form of WoW mobile (beyond maybe a pet battle spinoff app that ties in with your WoW account – that would be the least offensive thing they could put out), but I guess they ARE looking to expand into the mobile market.
I would HOPE that they’ve learned Blizzcon isn’t the audience for big mobile announcements though. Blizzcon is primarily a PC audience, maybe a bit of console more recently with Diablo 3 and Overwatch.
Save the mobile stuff for another event.

Anything mobile related will likely not be shown or even talked about this year. I can imagine Blizz wants to focus on getting as much good will and excitement back as possible considering how split the Blizz community is currently. I will be shocked if they even mention Immortal at all
You can say that it is only numbers but it does not change the fact that the “NUMBERS” are going backwards. It like saying it not a skunk just a black & white cat with bad B O both still stink.

Oh, absolutely agreed. Some of the gameplay elements from the Archives events are fine (if nothing new), but as a whole they’re very underwhelming, especially after playing them once. If they’re truly doing a PvE spinoff, it needs to be fleshed out MUCH more. As much as it’d be neat to get more story for Overwatch, it needs more than that going for it if it wants to be its own game.

Yep I do know that.
I am also interested in the possibility of something new within the Warcraft universe being announced. Especially since its the 20th anniversary of Warcraft and 15th of WoW. It would be pretty friggin nuts if they blew everyone away with a brand new game. Not gonna overhype myself for that though as they are working on a bunch of projects currently
I’m just not sure what they would even do.
Warcraft 4 is some peoples’ wet dream, but they’re just not likely to make that while WoW is ongoing, and they’re unlikely to do it and ignore WoW – as they’ve shown they’re willing to retcon existing Warcraft games to match WoW.
The TCG thing already happened.
An FPS doesn’t make any sense.
A single player RPG has the same trouble a new Warcraft game has – it can’t happen while WoW is ongoing unless it considers WoW non-canon, which is unlikely.

Yeah factions will still be a thing mostly because of pvp and warmode. but now you can pick your race and decide which faction you want to fight for.
and as for n’zoth he is defeated after the raid. there’s already broadcast text saying so.

Yeah pretty much. because they arent going to waste their time in adding high elves when alliance has void and horde has blood. they will now just add blue eyes to blood elves and allow any race to any faction

All Im saying is that it is very possible imo that there is ALOT of red herrings being thrown around in the ptr datamines. I think its very possible Blizz knows people will be looking for anything they can find on 8.3 and put fake news within there. Not saying everything there is fake but I do think some of it is.
The absolute power move that would be. Forget D4. Forget WoW 9.0 and forget OW2. This is what Blizz needs to announce. Just have that show up and say “Yeah. This is what we’ve been working on.” Its genius cause nobody can get angry at an adorable corgie
She’s pretty much leaving the alliance. she already said shes not gonna follow anduin. and she will never honor the peace treaty. Ion already stated that the alliance will soon have their fracture. So i can see her and maybe genn leaving the alliance

Unless you’re actually going to be at BlizzCon, there’s no way something like this would last more than a few seconds before the stream is diverted to something else across the convention. Sadly.
