Predictions for p2

Elemental shaman in p2 is going to absolutely slap. EM comboes with LB and chain lightning is gonna 100% people in pvp.

Shaman tank is nice experience. Surprisingly can hold threat over rain of fire.

nope. warrior will do crazy burst and have high mobility, but will be the best target for casters who will actually be online with likely 170+ spell power this time around.

ele sham will be insane, druid will be insane and arcane mages will very likely literally global a single target with arcane surge + AP and actual spell power.

but if more sources of “resilience” are added and any more damage reduction rules like WSG, warrior will become more powerful. If they can be kept alive, whatever they are on will die.

probably, but I think only alliance will be complaining about warriors. Eles are gonna light them up.

I predict that the forums will again be flooded by complaining. The most obvious will be that runes get data mined, and players completely lose their minds when they don’t unlock the one they want within the first 5 minutes of P2.

I’m hoping they really do make it feel like every class is ‘overpowered’. Right now it seems like that could become the case, except the blanket 25% dmg nerf in pvp goes against this, it makes everyone feel less powerful. I’d like to see people be more vocal about this. I really don’t like that they snuck it into the game.

My understanding is it only nerfs player damage. That means it doesn’t nerf healing and it doesn’t nerf damage from pets.

Oh yeah I should have mentioned it only applies in instanced pvp (WSG). Its purely an instanced pvp thing.

in Counterstrike, every gun is overpowered, but there are no healers.

Well in MoP pvp the healers were very strong, but so were the dps. So if you didn’t do your job as a healer properly it would be a big deal. With power comes responsibility.

A blanket nerf to damage would be among the worst ways to achieve making a healer feel ‘powerful’. In this case, you’d just be making it so any moron can do a ‘good’ job as a healer. Blanket nerf to damage just makes pvp boring.

warrior is the most fun by far with raging blow and consumed by rage. They add a whole new layer of gameplay that none of the other tanks have. Also prob going to be the strongest once geared

Shaman will be eating steak in phase 2. Warrior. Not so much. Rogue is right if you wanna lurk but you already have a Druid.

Phase 2 needs to drop. 25 is TIRED.
