If there is one race of the Horde that shouldn’t be nice to the alliance it is the blood elves.
The Horde and the Alliance have blood elves and there will be an elven reunification… so Silvermoon could potentially be Midnight’s neutral hub.
They will certainly revamp the place and expand everything there to be like a modern expansion.
sylvanas returns the void took over the shadowlands and with only the maw being accessable and than we discover we have been in a dream ever since argus when we died
Sylvanas is brought out of retirement to fight the void invasion of Quel’Thalas and might even be made Ranger General. Azshara returns to reclaim Kalimdor. Silvermoon becomes neutral
More horde character deaths.
hold up, no silvermoon doesnt become neutral not unless we get to burn down the new world tree first.
Optimism:
-Best fashion we’ve seen in the game for years
-Silvermoon will be gorgeous
-Housing will be fun
-Actual story for blood elf characters for once
-Blood elf druids (PLEASE)
-Playable forest trolls
Pessimism:
-The entire story is about alleria
-Silvermoon is shared between horde and alliance
-Xalatath ruins the sunwell (again)
-They bring back sylvanas and fumble it
-They bring back kael (again) and fumble it
-They ruin Thalyssra and Lor’themar and Rommath
-some how some way the alliance elves are the most important characters
-Thrall shows up more than any belf
Onyxia. Raszageth. Inquisitor Whitemane.
I mean central as in the focal point of the expansion they were in.
Raszageth was one patch, and really just a stepping stone to lead into the Xal’atath story with the dark heart. And we never really explored her story all that much. She just came out of nowhere screaming right from the start and we killed her the same patch.
Even Onyxia was brought back in Blackwing Descent. Although I wouldn’t really consider that her, more of a mindless zombie version.
Inquisitor white mane isn’t dead or gone. She’s now on our side as a death knight.
Wow never seems to have a female antagonist that we get to know and see their story, and then they die. Whereas male characters that seems to happen all the time. Where’s the female version of Gul’dan, or a female Garrosh?
Or even a female Jailer. Where they are the big bad guy from day one, and are the final boss of the expansion AND they actually die. It’s always something like Azshara or Sylvanas where they’re just defeated. One could argue Sylvanas was the big bad guy in SL along side the jailer, but he died and she just goes into time out.
Wow has never had a truly evil female villain that we outright kill. There’s always some catch afterwards so they aren’t truly gone. Xal’atath is in a position to change this, but knowing Blizzard she’ll just disappear or narrowly escape to come back some day.
My prediction:
Somewhere down the line someone is gonna post a:
“Midnight sucks! TWW was so much better!!”
kind of post.
My personal dread too yes.
It’s probably going to be the second option, complete with a moment where Blood Elves decide they’re not going to rebuild Silvermoon because it could get destroyed again.
Hopefully not, though.
Hopefully a TON of dead elves. Get the wagon.
Seeing it destroyed is still better then sharing it with the alliance.
What does one have to do to become a death knight?
(Also keep in mind how long a duration vanilla to legion was.)
I hope nothing but good things for the blood elves.
