Why is DF the new player experience again? I mean, I prefer it over TWW because TWW is a smidge more boring, but wasn’t the point of having the previous expansion be the new player experience was that newbies wouldn’t be giga confused when they’re shoved into the new expansion? And narrative adjustments made to DF? Does this mean retcons? Why? Unless you’re rewriting everything in DF to actually be good and not as horribly written as it was, what is the point?
No matter what, going from helping dragons to suddenly, with no real transition, helping elves, seems a bit odd for a newbie. It would make more sense to go from TWW to Midnight, especially considering this is a whole trilogy. You’d start a new player at the start of it.

The gameplay reveal that Wowhead links to me is far more interesting than that cinematic, to be honest. That uses the in-game graphics or close to it, which only highlights how – off the cinematic felt.
Lor’themar just jarred me and he became one of my favorite characters during the Pandaria expansion. Either marriage does not agree with him lately or he got hit with an uncanny valley stick of some flavor.
