I’d like to see that just to watch it all come crashing down and go back to vanilla days of game-time added to our accounts for massive downtime.
Oh that was fun times, I think the biggest crash party I remember excluding launch was the time scourge started invading in Vanilla. The huge freaking ships above the city when you finally logged in and all the massive lag only to instantly get disconnected… So much freaking fun.
well that and AQ… but that one doesn’t count.
Tbh I’d prefer it to be early but i’ll manage on a October pre-patch.

We’re probably looking at October prepatch and November release.
Rogues aren’t finished yet and a September prepatch gives them only 5-6 weeks, instead of 9-10 weeks.
That’s a big difference.
If it was the last week of September that is still 8 weeks… Are your low ball numbers only for the middle or start of the month?
Feels about right.
October pre-patch and later November launch sounds right to me.

I’m more gambling on a early December release.
people have leveled on beta from level 1 multiple times now testing chromie time. Have seen a few YouTube videos of the times and all that certain expacs take using chromie time so yes the world has been squished on beta
Probably. I think originally they were looking more towards Christmas but the coronavirus has them licking their chops with more people and kids stuck at home.
PTR is just PTR. They can put it in easily.
See this is what they have to constantly tell people…They are already builds ahead of the current playable build right now. They aren’t going to keep pushing everything little thing in. They will send a bulk build. What you see now is way old to them.
Possible but given COVID-19 I would not hold my breath.
If we are going to get the Pre-patch in October we’re going to need it in the PTR pretty soon. We have two squishes that need to be tested and I still remember what the post legion squish looked like. I want plenty of time to test different areas of content to make sure I help report and nasty bugs that come up from the two squishes.
How many more times do they need to say it… Shadowlands will NOT be delayed until 2021. The latest is Dec 21st more than likely mid/late Nov.

Once, in cata, when they released the raid WITH the expansion, they don’t do that anymore.
And this year is more important than ever that they have their usual break, it’s been a stressful year.
Don’t know where you’re getting two squishes from.
It’s just a level squish and ilvl reduction to go along with it, it’s not a stat squish
From what I understand we have the level squish coming bringing our toons down to max level 50 and our stats are being brought down as well so my BM Hunter wont have 473k when the pre-patch goes live. That’s why I said two squishes, because its not just our stats going down this time.
The main reason I brought it up like that is because we have fights like Galakras that depend on friendly NPCs to work correctly and there is a chance the squish really messed them up. We also got to make sure Blizzard did not miss an item that still has a required 60+ character level. There are multiple things that needs to be tested this time.
It’s not a stat squish though.
They’re just bringing everything down to 50, you’ll just be at the ilvl for 50.
If you were to level up to 120 right after and obtain the same ilvl you have now your stats would be be back to the same.
