I was excited for the lightweaver rework, because I thought it would make Prayer of Healing a solid choice for M+. I was looking for a breakpoint where PoH becomes more efficient to use than flash heal. What I found is that there is no such point - flash heal is always more efficient than PoH in terms of healing per mana, even when buffed by lightweaver with 5 targets taking the full heal.
PoH has fantastic throughput, healing roughly 3x flash heal (and healing the primary target slightly more than a flash heal), but costs 3.5x the mana of flash heal.
Philosophically, it seems that a healing spell that requires 5 targets to be damaged should be more efficient if all 5 targets are able to take the full heal.
I was hoping lightweaver would remain a benefit in both throughput and efficiency, as it was in TWW, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
