I’m interesting to see what unfolds in shadowlands to warrant us getting allied races.
well ion said ARs going forward will be a rare thing and only added if they make sense. lightforged/forsaken night elves are the only thing that makes sense right now. 4 is way more then i was expecting if that happens
Lightforged undead and Undead/dark ranger looking Night elves maybe.
Maybe something with the Pandaren/worgen models.
I don’t think any of the covenant races will become AR’s since it would just be weird to be a Venthyr joining the Bastion covenant.

Other people mentioned Tuskaar (walrus guys in northrend and maybe other places) and Firbolg over the years too.
Actually doing zandalari AR unlock and seeing Tortollan on the new council of Zandalar says Tortollan make a lot of sense as an allied race for horde. Like how goblins were neutral but horde got those. If they put Tortollan on a horde allied race council. they’re probably destined for horde.

Agreed. I only see races from Azeroth offering to come down and help us and joining the Horde/Alliance afterwards.

I seriously doubt the Covenants will be ARs.
There is ZERO evidence they can cross over and exist in our world.
Just because we can go THERE, doesn’t mean they can come HERE.

Dragons seem to move back and forth between our world and spiritworld at will at least. I remember one had a crush on a spirit healer and we had a quest to convince him to come back and help with something. Alliance could get dragonkin AR. Racial could be transform into a dragon a few seconds to breath magicness at targets in front of you. And the AR mount for dragonkin could be onewhere they turn into a dragon - like how sandstone drake mount works, but some fancier like black dragonflight with silver trim xmog or chromatic scale something I don’t know. And horde take Valkyr since Valkyr already work with us since forever.
I’ll make sure they never make it to the water.

If they’re going to be Shadowlands-related races, I could see them doing the Night Fae and Kyrians for Alliance, and Maldraxxicans and Venthyr for Horde. Aesthetically fitting and all that.

We’ll boogy down to the water 5 at a time in these sweet new xmogs. You won’t be able to stop them all.
4 Allied Races, right? Two of these would fill up the blank spots on Horde and Alliance. The other two, however. Maybe they might join the Pandaren in neutrality and being able to choose Horde or Alliance. Personally, I’d like to see more neutral races that can pick a side, that is one of the main appeals of Pandaren to me, the ability to choose.

i have a theory.
maybe skeletons is code for undead. so its some kind of undead race, using the undead skeleton but on the alliance. there were only 2 races left that hadnt been assigned an allied race - worgen and undead. so the worgen become either sethrak or saberon, and they would be horde.
what could possibly be the undead race though? calia menethil versions?
I believe Sethrak joining horde will produce a lot of salt on the forum.

Alliance: Sethrak or Lightforged Undead

they dont care if alliance is salty. its a sporting event for them. they pop popcorn and laugh at us. they cant give us the worgen skeleton twice unless the second time its heavily modified, which sethrak are, but as someone else pointed out, thus far, alliance hasnt established any kind of rapport with them.
