Once again, dragonkin dont really fit the player model. Blizzard would have to make the whole dragon part of it a transformation racial or a self mount like darkflight. I just dont see us having playable dragonkin ever without a serious rework to the system.
As for Taelia, on one hand I like the idea of her hooking up with Anduin, but shes also kind of like a step sibling to him since Bolvar did a fair amount of raising of Anduin. But, that shouldn’t be an issue since Taelia doesn’t even know her father.
But, I do like the whole Flynn and Taelia matchup as well, and honestly, I’m rooting for Flynn.
The Gnomes of Gnomeregan have finally settled their differences. As of this morning, the Leper Gnomes have once again joined the ranks of the Gnomes.
When asked to comment on the situation, Gnome King, Gelbin Mekkatorque had this to say.
“The Horde aren’t even going to see it coming. They blighted our soldiers at Lordaeron. The blighted out soldiers at the wrathgate. Well now it’s our turn and it’s not going to be pretty.”
I’m pretty sure that if alliance got irradiated gnomes and the horde got anything that isn’t a type of gnome, there would be more mass hysteria like with the junkers vs vulpera…
Though, T&E are known to share their opinion on both the good and bad. If tali got tuskar, that could be blizz’ way of bribing him to only talk about them in a good way.
Not the first time they’ve heavily edited models, rigs (or lore) for a character race. And there are two-legged forms of Drakonid. They’re huge and a really low poly, but they exist. Also, playable Tauren are smaller than they should be lore wise. There’s precedent Blizzard would make smaller drakonids.
Just a suggestion, we can’t keep suggesting beast races that people go “oh, they could be alliance!” (like the Sethrak) while we know in the back of our minds hardly anyone will play them because they’re not conventionally cool or sexy. I’ll be happy to be proven wrong though. Just we can’t drop a comment like “dragonkin don’t really fit the player model.” They’re body proportions are closer to muscular humans, and they don’t involve a really long neck. Which race is more likely to need “a serious rework to the system” again?
And it’s going to be Taelia and Anduin or bust because Alliance side, it’s Anduin’s story. They didn’t get introduced to each other with the common ground of talking about Bolvar for nothing. That was prime ship probing right there.
Then explain the characters that we know about and will see in the Shadowlands? The thing about the races there is that the people sent to the covenants will slowly turn into those races. Uther is a Kyrian now.
This actually makes sense. I was scratching my head at 4 new datamined ARs because I was expecting just the ARs for worgen and undead, but that’s a good point about Pandaren having two ARs to avoid repeating the neutral aspect.
