Well it’s pretty clear Blizzard is saying no. However if they fixed Void Elves to be similar to Worgen where they could look normal until combat, I think that would fix some imbalance. Especially since reputations are no longer going to be required.
But what other races would fill that slot as well? One race won’t do it alone imo.

Actually naga are perfectly viable as a playable race.
Mechagnomes prove gear and transmog isn’t an issue and as far as mounts go they can sit side saddle.

Half elves would be perfect for alliance. They don’t have enough short races.
Can they maybe let us know now what rep we will need to be grinding for them if they are coming in pre patch so people arent screwed last min? Thanks!
Or you know…dont tie them to the worst system in the game, make them good quest chains that expand lore and set the pre expac up.
I am not excited for any more AR with how bad they implemented them so far.

I mean, they could reuse another race frame too. Even when they did Vulpera they had to modify the goblin frame several times.
So I could see them using another frame or another existing NPCs frame. It’s kinda why I think the Jinyu/Ankoan really fit the bill for an allied race for alliance. I think the Vykrul do as well, as that’s what humans evolved from.

Was the human skeleton used for anything? I thought Kul’tirans were based off a larger frame.

Sorry, might’ve been elflings or something then. Pretty sure there was an elfish race that topped out at 5 feet in some game or other.
Just to let you all know the 4 allied races are likely to be the 4 covenants and what is in the files are placeholders while they are worked on throughout the expansion.
I would expect to see them at the end of shadowlands in a 9.3.5

As cool as some of them are, I don’t see myself ever playing any of them. Also what would the Maldraxxus race be?
I have no idea but as it is right now the male model in the files is the necrolord and the female model is an abomination.
