You either had beta access, which dropped off a couple few weeks ago, so now it needs to be maintained weekly. Or you were vacationed and then it’s 6 months before you get it back again.
Yeah, I lost mine but I figured it was because they made a change to the forum and I post on classic character.
I have done nothing to lose it so it would have to be due to a forum change.
People losing it may have nothing to do with the poster but rather the forum change that was done that resulted in not being able to see profiles without extra effort.
I lost mine and I shouldn’t have based on activity since I am very active on here.
None of those are true. It’s likely their recent forum update wiped out everyone’s access. I post multiple times daily and I’m currently trust level 0.
How is that any different then it is now?
agree - I lost mine too and I am very active on here. I still am coded for beta access as well.
I also lost the right because I didn’t log in and post enough in the last 100 days. So, I’m in here reading and posting like crazy, so I can help people who ask questions by posting screen shots. I’d rather be posting less and not annoying people but that’s the system.
You are trust level 2. The .json file, if you were looking at it, shows all the groups you are in. You are part of TL0, TL1, and TL2.
No, they did not wipe the trust levels of everyone. They removed the perma TL3 granted by the beta group and now people need to meet and keep the TL3 requirements. They don’t involve posting really, it is visiting 50% of the past 100 days and reading X amount of posts, a few likes, and not getting suspended.
If that were the case, I’d be TL3 easily. There’s something going on there.
Not only do you have to grind reps, gear etc in game… you must grind rep on the forums.
Also @OP did you earn a forum infraction recently. That will bump you down to trust level 2 also.
Feel free to ask the Blues on CS. They have been willing to help point folks to the requirements they need to meet to keep the 100 day rolling stats up. This is the most recent thread from yesterday.

Or they can buy a modified system that doesn’t suck. What is this silly world where our choices are only the one we have, or regress to what we had? If they saw room for improvement with the old, they can do the same here. Seriously, do you think about what you write before you post?

I’ve had TL3 for years and lost it when everyone else did a few weeks ago. I post here all the time. I think they had some screwy goings-on and lost a bunch of people’s trust levels.
Personally, I don’t think “trust levels” should even be a thing. It’s far too limiting. We should be allowed to import screen shots directly to a post without having to find an image host that actually works.
Until I can scratch back my privileges, I’ll just continue to use the ole code blocks trick.

The likely culprit is that having your battlenet account flagged for the Dragonflight Beta put you in a special permission group that had Level 3’s capabilities, and an update to the forums like a week ago seemingly removed that flag. (most likely so it can be applied to folks that get into the TWW Beta)
So a lot of us that were teetering on the threshold were coasting by on the beta’s technicality, or possibly had our overall trust level reset with the beta flag’s removal.
Not that part. Nothing on the your basic char-server account changed. What changed was the flag on the Beta account people are in. It no longer grants perma TL3 for those included in the group.
It is keeping up 20K posts read per 100 days on a rolling basis that most people, even active ones, are behind on. Also sometimes a few likes.

People keep saying this, but I had TL3 for years (been able to post links for that entire time). I’m here every day almost. I’ve had one forum suspension of 24 hours, but that was like 8 years ago or something. Why did I lose mine?
